My trumpet was safer just leaning against a wall! In fact, I could have made a better stand myself with popsicle sticks and electrical tape. Very cheap, not stable. The felt stickers that are supposed to add cushion for the bell were falling off upon package opening. Don’t buy this.

I got this trumpet stand to use for my bugle. It seems fine for that but it seems kind of small to use for a full-sized trumpet. The felt pads are only loosely glued on and seem like they will fall off soon.

I have a couple of K&Ms, which are superior in every way--at a cost of more than double this stand's cost. This stand is lighter weight, the felt pads aren't nearly as plentiful or nice as the K&Ms, and there's no rubber tip at top. So I probably won't be using this with my Bach or Yamaha, but I have a few cheaper horns it will be good for. I'd say this would be decent for students, or for someone like me looking for a spare stand on the cheap.

The two stars are for the passable practice mute-not the best but workable. The stand is incredibly unstable, you're much safer just setting your horn on the floor.
