It took me probably a year to buy this duvet. It's been sitting in my saved-for-later and wish list for months and months. You see, I am incredibly picky with bedding. I am a hot sleeper and absolutely cannot stand being too hot. There is nothing worse to me in the world. I run the AC nonstop in the summer and have windows open in the winter. Two words will absolutely turn me off from any duvet: 1. ~soft~ and 2. warm. No, It needs to feel like cool water woven into fabric. Smooth but not silk or satin. Cool but not flimsy. Heavy but not hot. No flannel, no microfiber, no ~soft~. Typically I look for percale but that severely limits my color choices. Almost all brands only make white, grey, maybe sage in percale sheets and duvets. Boring. So I kept returning to this duvet in my saved-for-later. Will I/ Won't I? Finally, I figured what the hell it's cheap and it's amazon so I can just return it. And I'm tired of searching and praying for percale brands to get their shit together and offer a color selection. I mean it's been a battle for years. Does this duvet feel like cool water woven into fabric? No. But is it ~soft~? Also No. Is it itchy/scratchy? ehhhhh not really. However, I do not get too hot and it comes in a million colors, both of which is what we established are most important here. Are you going to like this duvet? I don't know. Probably not, and I guess you can blame me. But I'm here to tell you that if your priorities are at least similar to mine, It's worth trying this duvet out. And if you love it, hey it's cheap and you can get a color for every season if you're an indecisive freak like me. Just give it a shot. ... show more

Lovely soft blue color! Soft feel. There are ties on the 4 corners as well as in middle of the 4 sides. The shams fit queen pillows, thankfully. Arrives very wrinkled, so unless you're into a very disheveled appearance, be prepared to iron the cover. Even after ironing, there is a slight wrinkly linen-look to the fabric, which is nice... it looks natural. I recommend this item and would buy again, although it is crazy-overpriced! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this duvet cover set. Please note that this is NOT a comforter set. It is just the duvet COVER and pillow shams, as the listing states, and does NOT come with an insert or filling. I've seen some reviews where the purchaser is unhappy because they didn't read the description and thought they were buying a cover that came with the insert because "that's how it looked in the picture." So if you're wondering, you do have to buy the insert separately. I've been looking for a couple of months for a spring refresh for my bedding but was having trouble finding "that perfect shade" of pink. This is it! It's a barely-there whisper of pink with just the slightest hint of grey to mute the pink. It's just pink enough to say "spring is here" without looking too girly. It feels so smooth and soft, like well worn percale sheets, with just enough wrinkle for a broken-in look to give it a casual and relaxed vibe. It's made of midweight fabric, about the same weight of good quality sheets. It has a zipper closure hidden behind a flap, color matched to the fabric, and the zipper operates very smoothly. The duvet cover and pillow shams came packaged beautifully wrapped with a cute ribbon. The shams have an envelope closure, which is extra wide to ensure the pillow stays in. It doesn't have any weird chemical smells like some other bedding does. The fabric doesn't make a "rustling" sound like some bedding does, which makes for a cozy and restful sleep. I love it, it's beautiful and cozy. This is a set I will definitely order in other colors so I can switch them up whenever the mood hits me. I feel this worth mentioning that the label says wash in cold, and dry on the "no heat" setting. Hopefully it won't shrink if I accidentally dry on low, but I wanted to mention this in case it matters to you. ... show more

I’m in love with this gorgeous brown cotton duvet set. I love that it doesn’t leave behind a bunch of lint. I’ve had that issue with duvets in the past. I’ve now washed it twice, and barely anything comes off of it. I also love that each time I’m washing it it’s just getting softer. The color is so pretty and rich, and I also love that it comes with multiple ties to ensure that it gets every corner and every side of the duvet insert. I also love that it’s a cooling material since my husband and I both run hot at night. The fabric quality is fantastic. I would highly recommend this duvet if you’re thinking about it. ... show more
