Another customer complained about the bag smelling funny inside. My bag arrived and it did smell funny inside. The bag is brand new. I feel the smell is from the packaging. After I was sure this was a good fit for me I took all the packaging off and out of the bag. I put an air freshener inside the bag and zippered it up for two days. Removed air freshener then another two days opened up and it was good to use. Zipper was also mentioned. The flap does cover the zipper. Once you fill your bag the flap will fold over the zipper. This bag has a pocket for a gun. I do not carry a gun but loved the look of the bag. I put my small tape measure inside for antique shopping! Many people have complemented me on the handbag. I carry a small gun... this purse allows you to reach in from either side of the purse to retrieve your weapon. That is important to me. The purse lasted a couple years before it started showing signs of wear, and pulling apart. But I liked it well enough to buy it again.

Wish this bag came with a buckled holster or a Velcro one. I had to use my holster and buy some stick on Velcro to place it in the pocket. It would be perfect if it would come with that. Very good quality material used.

I love this purse so much- roomy, big, but not too big….the side pockets are very useful (this is my new “movie purse”). The only downside is the shoulder strap is too long, even though it’s adjustable- it would fine for a crossbody, but the purse is too big for that. I would definitely recommend buying this.

I purchased this purse and loved it from the start. It is lightweight, great price, love the style, but after using it for about a month and a half, the edge on the strap is peeling off. It is sort of a rubber like material.
