I have previously purchased 3 of these hobo shoulder bags and am thoroughly pleased with all of them. I am a short woman, and the length of the strap is extremely important to me. The fixed strap is a perfect length to get over my shoulder and not hang too low on my hip. There is also a detachable crossbody strap for women who want to carry the bag as a crossbody bag. The interior lining of the bag is beautiful and light colored so you can see what is in your bag even in dim lighting. The brass studs and hardware are a bright gold which adds to the attractiveness of the bag. The overall construction of the bag is excellent and the overall appearance, even though it is faux leather, is so nice that it looks and feels like real leather. The overall size, inside and outside, are just right. Enough room inside to accommodate what I carry without crowding and having to struggle to get things out and in. The outside appearance of the bag is not too large to be overpowering for a short woman. I think this is the best handbag I ever purchased. It’s perfect in so many ways. The color is a vibrant red. Much thought went into making this handbag. I love that the back side of zipper is higher than the front, much easier to open this way. The tassel on zipper is right there to open or close. The liner in bag is a light tan with pattern making it easier to see contents in bag. (Don’t know why all designers still use black for liners, can’t find anything in bag. I won’t buy a bag with black liners. ) The cross body strap is long enough, I like my handbag to hang low. Zipper in bag can hold a generation 7 iPhone . This handbag is very stylish and works great for me because its so roomy. There are small pockets both zippered and open inside the bag. The small pockets are a perfect size for pocket calenders, glasses, pens and pencils and important cards you don't want to carry in your wallet. I like the strap that hangs on your shoulder at a perfect length, also there are zippered pockets on the outside of the bag for easy access for keys and phone. I love these purses. They are exactly what I was looking for. A well made purse with good space, pockets, and room for a book. The colors are gorgeous and not your standard blah everyday colors. They are deeply rich looking. The only challenge you may experience is an unusual aroma, which was off putting, I almost returned my first one. I loved the purse’s look and feel so much I decided to try a simple aroma removal by placing my favorite tea bags in each pocket and leaving them there for a few days. It worked!
