I purchased 5 gallons of the Patina, but I am almost certain it is actually the Pewter even though the swatch on the bucket shows the correct color. Aside from the color (which is the #1 reason anyone chooses paint!), it goes on easily and covers well. On the lighter walls, it only required one coat to look even and fully finished. The fumes aren't as bad as most brands I've used. I was hoping the color would dry a warmer, creamier color instead of the gray-ish color I have, but it didn't. If the color was a true patina I would have given this product 5 stars. I don't hate the color, but it just isn't what I wanted for my home. I just think I recieved the wrong color somehow? I would still recommend buying...it is a great deal for a good and relatively eco-friendly product. Just keep the color issue in mind when purchasing. I would likely purchase from again in the future. **EDITED TO ADD: I have attached some photos to show the paint color and updated my rating. The paint appears off-color for the first two days, but when it is TOTALLY and completely dry, it definitely looks more creamy, as advertised. It also looks a little different based on the amount of windows and lighting in the room. In the first photo, I showed what the fresh paint looks like (on the unfinished wall at the top) and what the paint looks like totally dry in the room beyond the fresh coated wall that has a smoke detector on it. I also included a photo of the bathroom wall we did 3 days ago. This is some amazing stuff and after a day or so scare, I am truly happy with my purchase and felt it was important to edit into my review! Thank you for such a good product! ... show more

Ok so this is going to be a pretty long review but I wanted to really give a little details since there aren't a lot of reviews yet. Cons: -You cannot really tell what color this is because the swatch behind the can is tiny and there is not an example on a room like many of the other paints. -My initial order was returned by FedEx due to damage and the second can I got was in am undamaged box but the can itself looked like it had been in a bar fight and nearly lost. So I am assuming they just repackaged my original order because the can seal was intact. Pros: -Ok so after UPS returned the item I have to say the company did overnight my second order and that was awesome and unexpected! Great customer service there! -This is a very high quality paint for the price! -Very good coverage. I only had to do one coat though what I was painting over was a light color. It required very few touch up areas and only that because the walls are pretty heavy textured. I used a roll brush and a paint brush and it went on smoothly with both. -The paint is perfect consistency for a fast smooth paint and it dries quickly. -It goes on like a satin/eggshell. -Very low odor. -Easy clean up on areas that I dripped or accidentally touched the trim. - The price is amazing. - I loved that it shipped to my door during the work week so I can work on projects during the weekend without me ever having to go into the store. * I purchased the twilight and though it looks more gray it comes out more of a shade of blue gray but it is a beautiful neutral color and I really like it. Still more gray than blue for sure but you just barely pick up the blue undertone. When I asked my 5yo what the color was she said "blue" if that tells you anything. My sister says it looks only gray to her so you decide from pictures. The pictures I am posting are with LED bright white lights for the sink area and regular low watt for the shower area so you get an idea of the true color. I will order more paint from this company for sure!! Hope the photos help. In some of my pictures the paint is a little wet thus it looks lighter in some areas.:) ... show more

ATTENTION :EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW OF MONTAGE PAINT. Wow, this is absolutely unbelievable. I ordered a gallon of montage brick red paint on March 7th and a few days later painted my small dining room. I soon realized that the color although it was a beautiful color, was not as red as I had envisioned. My husband informed me that the color was exactly as stated on the label -brick red! I finish the walls and wrote a review in which I stated that the color wasn't as red as I thought it would be and for that reason I gave it three stars. I should have mentioned how nice the color looks and everyone loves it. Okay now for the shocker. I've been away with friends for almost a week and when I came home last night I had a couple packages from Amazon of course- only one of them wasn't from Amazon it was from Montage Paint Company. Weird I thought. I didn't order any more pain and the box was certainly too light to be a gallon of paint. I cautiously opened the Box and realize this beautifully wrapped gift and a beautiful card and the outside of the card said: I'M SORRY. In another box inside of that box were two individually wrapped Gourmet brownies!!! The card was from the CEO and founder of Montage apologizing for falling short in his commitment to me, asking me to accept his humble apology!!!!! Can anyone believe this!!! I was absolutely stunned. Shocked. I cried!!! Yes I'm a 50 year old cry baby so what! I have never in my life received a message like this from any person and especially not from the CEO of a company because I wasn't 100% satisfied with their product. I can't think of how many times I have truly been disappointed by other companys and not offered one penny back and then treated like crap because I spoke up about their bad service or product. I urge everyone to buy this product and support a company that treats their customers like their family or closest friends. How refreshing to experience such kindness and Humanity.
