  • For us guys who can’t spend the government’s money on optics
Color: Black
I honestly don’t think you can get a better 3X prism optic than this anywhere for $100 (or 90 if you go the refurbished route). The glass in this optic is actually VERY clear, especially for the price point, and the illumination is focused on the reticle itself (as it should be) and doesn’t light up the entire lens system like a lot of similar-priced optics do. It’s a little heavy (around ~1lb I’d say) but I’d say that’s a plus since it feels very well reinforced and not like it’s going to break (plus, it’s a prism sight, so it’s one elongated piece of glass instead of two separate lens to prevent fogging and make it more durable). To all the nay-sayers who give this product a less than stellar review, they might have messed up on your order specifically but their PR team is hella easy to get in touch with either through email or instagram. And sure, there are a few minor imperfections on the scope where pieces of the outside don’t line up perfectly and a FRACTION of a millimeter of metal from one piece is overreaching, but that’s very minor and doesn’t affect the actual usability or function of the optic. If you want a VERY affordable prism optic and don’t want to pay the Trijicon price tag, this is %100 your optic right here! ... show more

  • Superb Value
Color: Black
I’ve been seriously impressed by this scope. It is considerably more clear and bright than I imagined from a $120 scope. The image is perfectly clear edge to edge, with absolutely zero distortion. I’ve shot a box of 450 bushmaster with this, and it’s held up so far. This is a <300 yard round, and the 4x is perfect for it. I was a little surprised at how heavy this is for its size. The reticle is a good size, and the illumination is visible during the day (but unnecessary). So far the mount has been sturdy. I’ll definitely buy another, probably very soon. ... show more

  • Great optic, but buy some thread lock when you buy it.
Color: Black
Great scope overall. Good eye relief (but not great. Too far and you won't see anything), and the 3x works well once you have it properly set on your rail. Stays zeroed, sort of, and I'll update once I see if the fix worked (see below) Advice: the very first thing you need to do once you get it out of the box, before you even mount it to anything, is flip it over. See those two little screws with the allen wrench heads? Take them out, and drop some blue thread lock on them, then reinstall the riser. These screws just suck from the factory. They wiggle loose just from transporting my rifle, and then the optic wiggles and wobbles all over the place, so it will not hold zero at all. I'd also have loved front and rear covers, though I can buy those separately (though I'm not sure they'll fit the objective lens as it's not only large, but recessed). But for the lack of covers and bad QC on the riser screws, this would be a 5 star review. Update 8/15: thread lock did the trick, for at least one range trip and about 200 rounds (5.56). Held zero well and magnifies well (at least to the range's limit at 25yds). My Vortex Spitfire is better overall, but at the price point I'm quite happy with this optic. ... show more

  • Easy to sight in
Color: Flat Dark Earth
Seems quality built. Was extremely easy to sight in looks good as well. Would’ve been nice to have lens covers though

  • Too heavy for its size
Color: Flat Dark Earth
Two things- it is steel, not some aircraft aluminum alloy so it’s too heavy and…the optics are too bright even at the lowest setting, “sight blossom” is what this is called, it’s like a flower plastered across the target, obscuring your sight picture . Real shooters need be involved in development and fewer engineers. ... show more

  • Great for the price point
Color: Black
Put this on an AR15 carbine. Great eye relied and good optic for short range (under 200 yards) shooting and quick target acquisition. It is a little bulky and heavy but it feels durable. It also works great to clear backup flip up sights. Very happy for the price point. The elevation and windage adjustments were backwards from labeling for point of impact adjustments but no big deal once you know that. Sounds like some are and some aren’t. I most likely will be buying another one once I have put this one through more testing. So far I’m completely happy with it! ... show more

  • Great value but you get what you pay for
Color: Black
The good: I love that I don't see the comma that I do with a red dot. This thing is excellent for being able to keep both eyes open and knowing what your pointed at. Even covering the objective lens you can still use the illuminated reticle to know what you're aiming at. Wide FOV. The bad: Fit and finish seem to be low, the seams are rough enough that I'm not sure that it won't suffer damage from humidity. The adjustment screws look like they were dremeled, the slots are sloppy. The direction indicator is uneven on the verticle adjustment. With the lack of QC I'm not sure this product will have a long life. ... show more

  • Proper adjustment seemed impossible to complete!
Color: Black
I really wanted to like this product as it was considerably less expensive than a similar scope from Vortex. The look and feel were good, the glass seemed clear and I couldn't wait to get it mounted and go to the range to try it out. That's when things took a turn for the worse! As I was adjusting the elevation and windage the point of impact would shift all over the place. Sometimes it would seem as though I almost had it right and the next tiny adjustment would send it off target. It's like the insides were not tightly coupled to the adjustment screws. An adjustment to elevation would also effect windage and vice-versa. After wasting almost an entire box of ammo I gave up! I am sending it back for a refund instead of a replacement. With ammo cost and availability the way it is I don't want to take a chance on a repeat. ... show more
