  • Great scope
Color: Black
I purchased this scope to give it a try. The price was too hard to pass up for a ffp scope with brass internals and all the other features. I was surprised with the clarity of the optic, it tracks very well, holds zero, and the reticle is easy to see at all magnification levels. I did notice that when you get to the top of the magnification level, the eye box can be a little finicky. It can be a bit harder to get the right angle to see through to get the sight picture. You just have to take your time and get lined up behind the scope. I’ve seen other people complain about the center dot when at top magnification. At top magnification, the center dot will match a one inch circle on the target at 100 yards. This scope is on a hunting rifle, so this doesn’t bother me. I also had no issues taking shots out at further distances than 100 yards. I think this scope is a good value. I’m happy I purchased it. It will serve its purpose perfectly for me. ... show more

  • Great scope
Color: Black
Installed on my .308 and was easy to adjust to 100yd target. FFP reticle is very nice and this scope is a fraction of what other FFP scopes cost.

  • You can not beat it for the money
Color: Black
A bit in the heavy side and the optic is a bit large but the picture is bright and clear up to around 10x then becomes a bit challenging to line up. Repeatably accurate and the full zoom is handy for spotting hits. Overall a very satisfying purchase

  • Great scope for the price
Color: Black
I liked the price of the scope for what you get. I think it will be great if it does what it says it will do. I haven't mounted it to my rifle yet. May be a while before I do so. A little more complicated than what I'm used to but I'll learn. Probably will use it for varmint hunting.

  • Sometimes you get more than you pay for
Color: Flat Dark Earth
I have only had this scope for $ days, but, I was able to Range site in Scope Saturday. I watched a YouTube.com claiming that this was a lot of extras, in a low budget high powered scope. He was right. I have never owned a scope priced over #1,400. I can clearly state that the Quality of glass is excellent, along with the clear sharp MOA reticle. The turret Clicks are very soft and quite, not sharp and definite, as I like. The illumination of the reticle was surprising, the red illumination was visible in full sunlight throughout my Range day, I have it mounted on an AR-15 delivering 300 AAC. Only9 shots needed to zero. I had a little problem bringing the target in clear focus and I have seen reviews that state the same effect. I will be trying again evaluate this further. Another surprising features is the eye relief. Small, but decent manual states eye relief at @4". Take that as a conservative estimate, mine is 4 1/2" I do not own a scope with such an eye relief spread. This gave me more prereferral vision, but, a Clear, defined optical sight picture. the scope featured offerings only found on $500 and up scopes. I highly recommend this scope for an entry level shooter or hunter, or for any shooter looking for a quality inexpensive scope. ... show more

  • It’s ok
Color: Black
It’s a decent scope but for the money I’d really like better attention to detail, the lines on the elevation and windage knobs don’t line up. Sure it’s a minor detail but I’ve spent less and had better detail on those scopes. It’s saving grace is the glass is pretty clear, only time at the range will tell if it’ll hold up ... show more

The scope is good quality. The rings could be a little lighter.

  • customer service is the worst...
Color: Black
customer service is the worst... I have written two letters to ask my questions WITHOUT answers and this is what I wrote, if anyone has an answer please give me your experience on the scope To whom it may concern: Hi... "Monstrum G3 3-18x50 First Focal Plane FFP Rifle Scope with Illuminated MOA Reticle and Parallax Adjustment" bought this scope on 02/07/23 on Amazon question (I'm very confused) I use the Strelock Pro app to execute my shots with my rifle and the reading it gives me when I adjust it with the turrets IS accurate, Example: if it asks for 18 MOA the impact is perfect... BUT when I use the HOLD OVER the 18 MOA the pellet or Slug goes very high. I have to lower the Hold Over to 9 MOA (exactly half) to make an impact. I did tests at various distances in Hold Over and what the streclosk APP asks for, in turrets is accurate, but I have to adjust the hold Over to half exactly, this means that each ten (10) MOA in the reticle is twice the value specified with the scope, it took me a long time to discover this matter. My question is: what am I doing wrong, or what do I not understand? Is there any explanation for this matter? Note: I have another scope mounted on an FX pantera 700mm Element Optics Helix 6-24x50 FFP and the readings I put on the turrets are the same as what I can use if I use "Hold Over" ... show more
