  • First shot was within 10 inches after mounting to my new buile AR
Color: Black
Needed glass for my AR for a reasonable price so figured why not... Not dissapointed. Quickly zeroed it in at 100yds and 5X magnification. Fired around 150 rounds and zero held true and my steel gong took a beating. Might need to order another.

  • Worth the money
Color: Black
Very nice match for ar15. I originally ordered this scope for a different gun but after getting it I played with the settings a little bit and it was more clear an easy to get on target an zoom in then my much more expensive lpvo scope I had mounted on my ar15. Not saying names but the expensive scope came off an this is mounted now. It chamber laser bored to 100 yards with only 2 or 3 clicks each. Il be shooting it tomorrow. If it holds zero at 100 yards il be returning the expensive one an buying 2 or 3 more of these an saving the rest for ammo lol. Owe an they also give you tinted see threw dust covers. I didn't know those were included but there awesome for day time shooting out on the dusty farm. ... show more

  • Monstrum 2-7x32 AO Rifle Scope with Parallax Adjustment
Color: Black
Just received the replacement scope and it functions correctly. Thanks to Amazon, the return and replacement went without a problem. The parallax adjustment on this scope still doesn't have a good feel like the eyepiece does, but at least it functions and is easy enough to turn. Still cut 1 star because of inaccuracies in the printed manual. How long can it take to reprint a 2 page document plus 3 pictures? 2 stars for the first one because it arrived with a parallax adjuster that stops about half way through the travel. The machined groove that the AO ring follows has a major lump or burr about mid travel that prevents it from moving through its intended adjustment range. The scope was NOT FUNCTIONING and could not be used in this condition. Now for the other issues, most relate to the changes or improvements that occurred since the manual was printed in 2017. Has a CR1632 battery (not 2032). Battery compartment (and illumination control) is no longer located opposite the windage turret. It has 1/2 MOA adjustments NOT 1/4 as stated in manual. The turrets are NOT locking and can be adjusted without pulling them up first. The included rings may fit the scope, but are of cheap quality and standard Burris rings with the wonderful plastic bushing inserts will not fit the slightly oversized 1.008" tube diameter. The rings are on all of my other 1" scopes and fit perfectly. The force that would be needed to get the premium rings closed enough just to start the screws would likely damage the erector tube. The supplied rings will certainly mark the scope as they are not very round or precise. The nice reticle doesn't exactly match the one in the owners manual which means that you have no idea what the subtensions really represent. I realize that this is an economy scope with a price of under 100 dollars. I own scopes from around 50 dollars to over 4000. The manual seriously needs to be reprinted and some of the advertising here needs to be properly updated for the product changes over the years. There is no excuse for incorrect information being in the description. ... show more

  • Excellent budget scope
Color: Black
I mounted this scope on a 458 Socom and sighted it at 25 yards, once it was zeroed, I moved to 50 yards, it was shooting a little to the left. Once I adjusted it, I was hitting the bullseye with no issues. For those who don't have experience with a big bore cartriged, the 458 is one, I was hoping that the scope would hold up to the recoil, it did. I expect it to continue holding up...we'll see... ... show more

  • Amazing for beginners + Great Quality!!!
Color: Black
I purchased the scope with an iffy feeling or a "it's only 50 bucks" kinda mindset, but the scope turned out to be much more in quality then I imagined. I first put it on an air rifle as I couldn't believe the scope would handle any powder rifle shooting (without loosing alignment at least). The plinking began and I couldn't help myself but to throw it on my new AR15 build and send off some lead with the thing. A good test to the scopes capability, and you know what, the scope did better than I expected. MOA was perfect after multiple shots. Hands down I respect Monstrum as a manufacture and will continue perchasing products from them in the future. ... show more

  • Features are nice, only time will test how sturdy
Color: Black
Not gonna lie. If this scope lasts more than 2 years and turns out to be pretty sturdy, I'd give it 5 stars. For a scope this cheap you expect it to feel cheap but it feels pretty solid. The turrets are all responsive, glass is decently clear if you use the focus correctly, and the Illuminated reticle acts like a red dot. Even at 2x magnification I am able to keep both eyes open, granted one eye is out of focus but I still was able to distinguish what was in front of me and the dot stayed on target with no Parallax . I got this scope for medium ranges but the Illuminated ret makes it useful for quick acquisition in close quarters. The illumination is useless in the bright outdoors but the etched reticle was visible and clear. I have not yet shot with the scope on, but I have it on a mini-14. Based on features alone I'd give it 5 stars, but only time will tell how sturdy the unit really is. $80 is a decent price, tho, if it dropped closer to $50-60 I'd be happier and probably buy 2 more. Update: First trip to the range with this scope on a mini-14. About 150 rounds. Mount screws loosened twice, but I did not locktite them before which I should have. Scope stayed on the gun though. The scope was minute of 2 man with no previous adjustments, with the dust from the shot kicking up all around the steel at 100 yards. ... show more
