Got this for a 5 y/o who is obsessed with Monster Jam. The Grave digger truck is pretty cool looking and the little trivia cards it comes with are cute. When you figure what you spend to buy the toys by themselves its not a bad deal moneywise. The game itself isn't a great feet of engineering, but for my purposes it's a good thing. The controls are pretty straight forward and it sorta forces you to do the tutorial. The game was opened and played immediately christmas day and my husband only had to take turns to show him how to do the tricks. He caught on quick, and the tutorial is always there for review. Some of the more complex events are a little out of his range, but you unlock different trucks by earning points in all sorts of events, so I think 6 and up can really enjoy this. ... show more

My box was ripped and for ordering the collectors edition that's a thing. But played this game yrs ago had a blast. Bought for a gift. Update later if the contents are damaped from that rip in the box which is collectors edition.

We've had the PS4 version for a while now and I decided to get my kid this game because it was on sale just for the gold Grave Digger toy, but also I figured it'd be nice to have the game on the go. There's not much to this game as it was, so while the PS4 version controller janky and the gameplay is limited, at least it looks nice. Well, take all of the positives away and you have the Switch version. Oh and it controls even worse somehow. It looks UGLY like a Wii game or PS2 game. There's pop-in everywhere and everything looks terrible. I expected maybe it would look mildly less good and have some draw-distance issues, but man, this is unforgivable. And to top it all off, it doesn't even include the code in the box for the 3 free DLC trucks like the PS4 one has on the Collector's Edition. So not only do you get less fun, less graphics, and less everything else, you get zero trucks to start with...and you're paying the same price as the PS4 version. ... show more
