When my husband and I go on vacation, we almost always pack our own floats so we don’t have to buy them everywhere we go. We enjoy floating around in the ocean or a type of lazy river. Over the years we have tried various floats, always trying to stay within recommended size limits so as not to mar the enjoyment of the water by other people. This year we needed to buy new floats and purchased the Monsoon Fiesta, which had several features we felt were improvements over other floats. In addition to being a reasonable size, it had a webbed seat, backrest, and cup holder. It also has two handles as opposed to one. The two handles are a nice detail because if you’re floating around with a friend or family member, you can attach yourself to a second float from either side. It also provides a small, self-adhesive patch should you experience a pinhole leak. During our first use, we knew the webbed seat was a smart choice. It prevented us from sliding through an open hole and having to readjust our position. The backrest also allowed us to rest our heads and possibly doze off without worrying about dropping backwards into the water. Those two particular features also allow parents to sit their children on the float and walk them around a pool. They won't worry about kids sliding through a center hole or falling off the back as they giggle and squirm, enjoying the water and sun. The float itself is comfortable, made of high-quality, durable plastic that doesn’t stick to your skin. We also noticed the float doesn’t lose air. That may seem like a small thing, but not adding air every day saves a little time and frustration. The cupholder is inadequate. It will hold a 12-ounce can or bottle, but won’t accommodate a larger drink, or a can or bottle nestled inside a cozy. So, if you’re floating around enjoying a drink, you may have to hold it in your hand the entire time. It also doesn’t automatically inflate. You have to blow it up manually or find an air pump of some sort. We found deflating the float for easy storage was much easier than any other float we’ve ever had. And since we do take our floats with us when we travel, that was an important factor - especially since sometimes they have to fit in the bottom of a suitcase and still leave room for clothes. We got it close to flat in record time and it fit back inside the original packaging. Overall, the Monsoon Fiesta float is a good value and will undoubtedly hold up year after year. Being able to use it season after season will not only save you money but allow you to enjoy floating around a lake or pool much sooner. I highly recommend it. ... show more

This Fiesta floatie is flipping sweet! First of all, I’ve been looking for the perfect floatie for my dad. I’ve already bought him two this year from big box retailers, but he didn’t like either of them. He’s an average-sized guy, but he just couldn’t get comfortable on either of them…it was like he was always falling out of the “nicer” floaties I was getting or sinking in the water, going down with the thing that was supposed to keep him out of it. But not with this floatie. The Fiesta is big enough, durable enough, and the backrest helps keep him comfortable. I originally bought this floatie for myself, but my dad liked it so much that I ended up giving it to him. It’s also easy to inflate, especially with an electric pump. I was delighted to receive this floatie eight days before its intended arrival, just in time for the 4th of July holiday and in the middle of one of Northern California’s hottest summers. I was blown away at how huge this thing is! It’s definitely worth the money. My first one aired up but instantly deflated and those things happen. The customer service was OUTSTANDING! They sent out another one right away, before I had even sent the old one back! The new one aired up and held air just fine. I am 5’8” 210, and I get into the ring easily! I love to let my back hang in the water because of herniated discs and pinched nerves. (I’m old) I can also get in it and hold my 35 lb dog in my lap. It’s a good float. Let me start with the bad. We noticed after inflating (after taking it out of what looked like new, unopened packaging) that the float had several dirty marks. On a closer view realized the vinyl looked like it had been mauled by some machinery and patched! I was pretty shocked that this was shipped out as new. It is a pretty solid patch as it as stayed inflated, but I am so disappointed to be sold a damaged item. I have requested a replacement (thanks easy Amazon returns!) and hope this one comes truly as new. The good...the float is pretty comfy. For a smaller adult or kid the back rest stays up and is more like a chair. But for a larger adult it does get a bit uncomfortable for how the back flattens out when you lean back. The cup holders are a bit smaller but should fit a can or narrow bottle. I like the netting in the bottom so you don't totally start to slip through while relaxing. ... show more

As soon as I saw these floats I just knew they would be perfect for the summer! I purchased the 2 pack of citrus ring floats, where one resembled an orange and the other looks like a lime. The colors are vibrant and the floats themselves are super sturdy, supportive, and easy to inflate. These are really fun and were already put to good use in my pool. You might think this pool float is a little pricy but I felt that it was worth the price. First, it is super easy to inflate and it feels durable. Not to mention the cupholder which is great for relaxing poolside. It's pretty simple honestly, just a user-friendly pool float for relaxing.
