I really love the style and color of these boots. I love the faded look and good quality. The reason I gave them a 4 is because they run a little narrow. But still a nice boot.

I love the look of these boots. I like the "engineering" look - probably because I am an IT geek. So, these were visually appealing (and I have the perforated boots they selll, which are awesome), but they are a bit stiff, so I have to (and I work from home) roam around the house with them on (with my sweatpants, which is an amazing look - hahaha) and get them worn in. There are some cardboard-ey areas on the heels that I am not thrilled with, but they are there to maintain the structural integrity. Overall, these boots are good. Are they Borns, like, from the 90s? Mona Flying makes really nice shoes. I have purchased loafers and boots and have been very pleased with their quality and style. I wear them with care, never getting them wet, as they are indeed expensive. I would like to give them five stars for support but for the best support I need to default to my cork insole shoes. Still Mona Flying has some really good looking styles and quite a variety from which to choose. As for sizing, I wear an 8.5 narrow and for me that equates to a 40 European sizing in the Mona Flying. For my other shoes with cork insoles, I purchase 39 narrow. But Mona Flying shoes are more tapered in the toe area and therefore I like the extra room. These boots with the strap and velcro closure are adjustable and that helps too if I want to wear heavier socks. ... show more

These are perfect, they’re cute and comfortable but after a couple wears the left shoe developed a squeak. It’s the layers of the sole separating and air being squeezed out every time I step. It sounds like I have a tiny mouse in my shoe. I can’t find the break to shoe glue it so it must be in the center somewhere. Disappointing.
