It's a good size. Seems sturdy. I'm happy with my purchase. My one year old can climb into it but it also still can fit my 6.5 year old, so there's a good range of usage. She will be able to use it for a long time. It's soft and perfect for a little girl. I bought this one because of the photos in the reviews. It seemed bigger and sturdier then other kid chairs. I'm glad I got this one. The pillow is a little bunchy and not super squishy. Like it's kind some weird foam or left over pieces as the stuffing. I suggest airing it out for a day before you gift it because there is kind of a smell to it initially. ... show more

If your chair comes deformed give it a couple of days to air out. Ours took awhile for it to not tip to one side and fill out. Its a very cute and sturdy chair and we are keeping it now. Just a little frustrated you couldn't use it for a few days without it tipping over.
