You will never find a better notebook than Moleskine. Make sure you are buying the right size and page types (line, grid, blank) and you’re set. I am on notebook 20 or so by now. I’ll never change.

The paper is very thin. Every pen that I have tested so far ghosts through to the next side. Because there is very little tooth on the paper the pens also smudge easy. I waited 10 minutes before wiping my figures across them and all but one smudged. I love the size (hard to find b6 notebooks with a plain cover) but I'm not sure yet if I can use this notebook for work. It lays semi flat after some use. ... show more

I have loved Moleskine journals for years and they are consistently perfect. I do find the paper the tiniest bit waxy, so, I avoid using fountain pens for writing in them.
