I use these notebooks to keep track of my crochet projects. I record yarn, pattern hook size, etc. The small size means it fits into my project bags easily. I like that the lines are narrow so that I can get more than one project per page. I also like the quality paper. The pages stay put and do not rip/fall out. The notebook is very nice overall but my one complaint is the pages are so thin you can't really use the back of a page for notes as the ink from the other side shows through too much.

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to Rustico's inserts (there's are about ten dollars for a single insert), and these are lined, whereas the Rustico one was a dot grid, which I'm not a fan of. These are just a few pages less per journal, and there's THREE of them, so it's a much better deal, and I'm set for a while. If anyone is curious, I used them to put in my refillable Rustico Expedition Leather Notebook, and they fit! Just barely, if it was any bigger it would go over the side of the cover, but it's just right, and I actually like the fit more than the one it came with. Anyway, I don't have any complaints about the page thickness for these. I mostly use pencil for my journaling, and I'm not trying to make it look amazing or anything, I just want to write in a journal, so they work perfectly for my purposes. I also really like that the pages are cream colored instead of white, and the thickness of the cover surprised me. It said soft cover so I wasn't expecting it to be so thick.
