Not sure I've given these little guys enough field time over the years I've had them but after the 2022 duck season and the 2023 dove season, I'm a big believer. Prior years' experiences for dove hunts were just OK...certainly didn't hurt anything but didn't do much positive either IMO. Tried them for duck hunting (MO) for the first time last season and they were excellent in drawing in the teal. It was regular season and plenty of big ducks around but the teal especially were drawn to these. Hunted recent opening weekend for dove (CO) and I only threw one of these out on my fifth hunt on a whim as the action seemed to have calmed down. I was very pleasantly surprised at the results....dove were extremely drawn to my single MOJOD with many trying to land within a few yards. We have hunted the same property two years in a row. Last year, first day (before the corn was cut) I fired 3 times, and no birds. This year, with these and the Mojo flickers, identical conditions, I shot a box and a half of shells and got 6 birds. I'm rusty ok. These made a HUGE difference. Like others have said, twice birds actually tried to land in the decoy spread! More often birds would swing closer and slow down to look at the decoys offering shots. I originally purchased a 4 pack of Mojo flickers but one didn't work properly right out of the box so I sent them back and purchased two of the Mojo Voodoo dove decoys. I have owned and used these Mojo Voodoo Dove Decoys for several years and they worked great for me. On one occasion, the doves can in so hard and faster that they were flying and landing between the decoys. We were laughing more than shooting. The new Decoys I received were a little different, but not by much. I have a total of 6 of these decoys and my hunting buddy also has 6 so plenty of motion. I would buy these again. The media could not be loaded. Like them on the ground, but they’re truly effective combined with decoys and put over a telephone wire. Take the wings off and the battery out (less weight/ easier to cast) Attach a fishing rod line to the loop and then cast or throw it over the wire. Actually better if you can get over the top wire because then it appears to hover over the bottom wire. Open the reel and drop the line down so you can reattach the wings and put batteries back in Turn it on pull it up between the wires and stick your rod in brush or long grass for tension. In the attached video the wings don’t look like they’re spinning because the way the video takes, but they are, and greatly effective ... show more
