These shoes are well made, just as advertised, far better than I expected. I have been wearing them every day for a couple of months, waiting for some flaw in craftsmanship or materials to show up, and so far they are durable, comfortable, well made. I planned to replace a pair of worn out $100 shoes, but I was tempted by the price of these shoes -- and as far as I can tell, the quality is equivalent. The fit is just right, which is unusual because I have narrow feet and there was no place to specify it. I don't recall shoes holding up so well in the initial break-in period. My wife suggests I buy another pair at this price and I plan on doing that, even though I am in no way a clothing-hoarder. ... show more

I've owned these shoes for over a year and a half now and haven't seen any deterioration on them. I have shined them twice but honestly I can't see much difference from an Allen Edmonds shoe or something of that quality. I got these as a quick replacement for a wedding and everyone thought they looked like a great , classic black shoe.
