Looks beautiful and matches other hardware. However, the toilet paper falls off when pulled at the "wrong" angle. I really wish they had thought to add a magnet to hold it closed. That would have given it a premium feel vs now, which is just ok. Really easy to change the roll though lol

I like the function and finish on this but it did come in scratched. I checked closer and could tell it had been installed before and was not repackaged correctly when returned...I guess that's how it got scratched.

    • Installation instructions are over-complicated; adjust for what works!

The media could not be loaded. I was replacing an old silver TP holder that literally fell off; I probably could've just fixed it, but it was dated and ugly anyway, so I was kind of excited to replace it. I wanted something matte black, somewhat industrial-looking, and two-sided (because the toilet paper ALWAYS rolls off those single-stem holders and I don't want to live with that annoyance in my home). I love the new pivoting design, tooโ€”there's no separate thing to spring apart or fall while you're trying to replace a roll! There are these crazy drywall anchor things that the instructions seemed to depend on, but I was installing into the old holes from the old holder in the side of my vanity, which is wood. Trying to shove those anchors through felt like I was going to ruin everything, sooo I pretty quickly abandoned them. I simply installed the screws in the existing holes and, because toilet paper holders are a fairly standardized size, it worked fine. It feels sturdy, too! Overall, this is a great deal, looks fantastic and functions well. Highly recommend! ... show more

Pros: It is hard to beat the pivot arm design for ease of use in a bath tissue holder. You can change a roll with one hand. This product also has a clean, elegant design. Cons: After two weeks of use, however, it is clear that the product is not sturdy. There are two design flaws. 1) The two posts, the one with the hinge and the non-hinged one are fastened to the wall mounting bracket with just a small set screw and not much else, so it is very prone to come loose. 2) There is no hook or other mechanism on the non-hinged post to hold the pivot arm to the post when the arm is down. There is enough play in the hinge so there may be an unattractive gap of, say, 2 mm, between the hinge arm and the stationary post. ... show more
