I bought this at a really great deal, and for the price, you can't beat it. I have a big king-sized bed, and every time I try to order a comforter of any kind, it seems like they barely cover my bed and always seem to be on the short side. I was a little nervous when I read the reviews about people complaining that it was too thin. It is sitting on my bed right now, and feels pretty cushy to me. Is it overstuffed? No, but at this price, would you expect it to be? I looks pretty poofy and feels great, too. I personally would definitely not label it "thin". I also read reviews that said it feels like a sleeping bag, and although I understand why they are saying that now (it has a slight sheen to it and has a thick-type material that IS kind of similar to a sleeping bag, I guess), it actually really looks nice and does feel a lot softer than a sleeping bag. When it rustles around, it also makes a kind of crisp, poofy sound a little like a sleeping bag, but some of the nicest, most expensive comforters I have owned made the exact same noise, too - usually indicative of a plush, comfy, cover. The part that got me super excited, though, was the fact that it covers my king bed appropriately and cascades down the edges with decent coverage. Yay! I honestly was not expecting that for the price. After sleeping last night with it, it was perfectly comfy. Not too hot, not too cold. When winter begins to approach, I plan on using this as an insert into one of my warmer duvets, since it is perfect for that and exactly what I was looking for. If you are looking for a decent insert for a duvet only, you can't go wrong with the price, and you don't have to worry about the aesthetics of it, anyhow. The down alternative is evenly filled in the squares of this comforter, as far as I can tell, even after washing it (again - not overstuffed, but decently filled and reasonably fluffy). As with anything, you get what you pay for. If you want something overstuffed and more luxurious, you need to look elsewhere. If you need a basic down alternative comforter/duvet insert and are on a budget, this will most likely exceed your expectations for the price. ... show more

    • Cheap but good, lightweight yet warm

I haven’t had this for long so time will tell. I wanted a lighter weight quilt for our bed so I searched for down alternative blanket. This showed up although it’s not really a blanket. It was only 22 bucks for a king size and the soft lavender / grey color is really nice. Seems like a great deal. It came out of the package pretty wrinkled but at least it didn’t have any weird smells. The fabric has a slight sheen to it and doesn’t seem to collect pet hair. Yay! Others have said this is really thin but the one I received isn’t that thin, it’s just lightweight. It’s been plenty warm so far. If it gets below freezing I think we would need a blanket as well. ... show more

    • Hard to get shipping wrinkles out

This blanket is soft and lightweight but warm. It is thin but it’s a very cozy blanket. The only problem is I have washed it twice to try and get the wrinkles out of it but I think it will take two more washes or an iron. I found using liquid fabric softener helped a lot for the second wash. I didn’t have any bunching issues from washing it like some other reviewers said. The color is pretty. I got the green and it is two shades of green (not beige) but I expected that from the photos. Once the wrinkles come out, it will be very nice. Normally I’d return something for that, but I’m fighting to keep it for all of its good qualities. ... show more

Love this comforter; it's pretty, lightweight but cozy, washes & dries easily, the fabric is smooth and comfortable. I have 2 dogs that are heavy shedders. They rub against my bed and sometimes get on it, leaving a lot of hair. The shell of this comforter is tightly woven and the hair comes off in the wash or when brushed or shaken off, rather than embedding into the fabric. ... show more

Warm and lightweight for my elderly Mother. Material is very soft and snuggly. We bought the twin size and it hangs about 12 inches on each side of the bed. Length is a bit long but doesn't touch the floor.
