When I decided to buy this, I had already read the reviews and knew that the instructions was not detail enough. I figure I'll get it anyways and if I cant figure it out I'll just have my brother in law help me because he's an electrician. Sure enough when I got it and started putting it together I finished step 2 and couldn't go any farther because the instructions was no good. My brother in law ended up putting it up for me. End result is beautiful! but I do suggest that if you're like me, no experience whatsoever with electrical stuff, it maybe best to either not bother with it or hire an electrician. If you have experience with electrical stuff you have a better chance on putting everything together. It did took my brother in law 2 trips to home depot to get everything to install and make it work (no idea the reason behind it). ... show more

I Purchased this chandelier based on size as I did not want the chandelier to be a statement just an accessory to my ornate bathroom. Upon arrival I found the finish did not match with the rest of my bathroom decor so I took to chalk paint and acrylic paints adding a layer of champagne gold, with platinum highlights. I’m impressed with the quality and clarity of the glass at this price point. I have two very large ground chandeliers in my dining and kitchen both Swarovski crystal, and although I can’t compare the two this little chandelier looks pretty darn good !!I The result of my painting project is a custom piece that looks gorgeous and add just the right amount of “glam” to my happy space 😀 ... show more

Such a beautiful chandelier in my dining room! Hired an expert to install, but it only took me 15 minutes to put together. The quality is amazing for the price. I was considering a similar chandelier for over $500 and am so thrilled that I chose this one!

    • Nightmare
We are moving. So thought it would be good idea to remove our crystal chandelier (a Schonbek) and replace it with this cheapo lamp. First problem was that some of the threaded rod parts were not fully threaded. I have taps and dies in the baseement, so cleaneds all the threads up (3/8" 24, I think). So, after some effort, I got all the parts to thread together. Next, all the parts are so small, I can hardly work them. Finally, I get the top piece up to the ceiling (the "canopy") only to realize that it doesn't cover the hole in the sheetrock. duhh! Now I have a new spackling job for myself, a problem I didn't have before I bought this lamp. Buying this lamp is one of the dumbest things I ever had. Should have just left the Schonbek up there, and then buy a new on for our new house. ... show more

I think this is perfect for our daughter’s room. She is 4 and wanted to update her room with some sparkle. She wanted a chandelier and some crystal knobs on her furniture. She picked this one out of the options I gave her because of the chrome where the light bulbs go. She liked how shiny it was. I was initially worried that it was too small but after adding the crystals it looks bigger. I was also worried it would look cheap but it doesn’t. My husband didn’t complain about assembly but he’s pretty good at that kind of thing. ... show more

Besides having to run to the store to buy the mounting bracket, installation wasn't so bad. The directions weren't that helpful, I think that's why it took me an hour and a half to figure this out. I had to look up a similar one on YouTube to at least get a sense of where to start. It was kind of a struggle with the wires. I do suggest that you complete the wiring first, also pulling the longest one in the middle high enough so you can weave it through the chain and hide the rest of it in the ceiling dome. Other than that, I LOVE this chandelier! I absolutely love the way it glistens and how elegant it looks. It looks so much more expensive than what I paid for. ... show more

    • Not pleased on provided components to install
Arrived (7/14/2020) and contents appear in good condition. Today (7/28/2020), went to install and find chain to be 14 inches in length; wire to be 22 inches. As this is being installed in the dining room with a vaulted ceiling, these should have been much longer. (Just installed two other fixtures: entry and stairwell which also on vaulted ceiling; both were provided with 60 inches of chain, 84 inches of wire, each). The support bracket provide is inadequate as the diameter (2 13/16” O.D.) is much less than the electrical box (3 1/2” ; mounting holes are 2 3/4” center to center - standard). This will delay installation until I can procure chain, wire and find/make a proper mounting bracket. As a contractor, it is a complete disappointment as I have to reinstall the old chandelier. Debating on whether to return this item or if successful in obtaining the proper items required, to proceed with the installation. Note also, the canopy is the same diameter of the electrical box, therefore, a different canopy will need to be purchased for a clean finished appearance. Additionally, the diameter of the ‘tube’ to run the wire is 4.5 mm; the wire diameter is 6mm. Installation of the required ground wire is not possible either. Very, very disappointed; be aware of these factors before purchasing! UPDATE: item has been returned (7/28/2020) ... show more

    • looked wonderful but...
Was so excited to put in daughters room, worked well for 1 night. Then one of the lights stopped working, we thought it might be bulb, nope changed the bulb nothing, bought new bulbs nothing. The worse part is my daughter is upset because she loved the chandelier. Now have to remove and look for another one. ... show more
