Beautiful colors in person that look just like the photos. Soft and a nice weight, not too heavy but not too light. King size washes well in normal household washer/dryer although it does take an extra couple cycles to completely dry. The size is great, it overhangs the sides and top/bottom on a king mattress perfectly with plenty of covers for both of us. It does not hang to the floor like the photos, but we have an extra tall bed frame and I don't want my bedding touching the floor anyway. Really happy with it and would purchase again! ... show more

The workmanship, embroidery and detail is beautiful. I am thrilled to have a near detail match to the bedspread I already have. The color blue is perfect, but the main color is not white, but off white. From pictures It looks white and nowhere in the add do they say either way. I first purchased this quilt at a department store maybe ten years ago. It stood up well but I could see the fading and slight wear and tear after a while. So I searched high and low and found it again here. This time I purchased one size larger so that it would be longer on the sides. For reference the photo is of a Queen-sized quilt on a Full-sized bed. The top of the Mattress is about 32 inches off the ground. The part of the bedskirt that shows is roughly 6 to 7 inches. So, the quilt would probably be floor length if the mattress was the standard 26 inches high. I had the pillow shams and decor pillows from the first purchase so I can’t help you there on where to find them. Google search “Heirloom Charlotte” which is the name of the quilt and maybe that would help. The one negative thing I would say is that on this second purchase I noticed that the quilting stitches were done right over the embroidery. Like railroad tracks. But it really doesn’t affect the beauty of the quilt. Just a minor flaw. ... show more

The bedspread is beautiful. I love that its named Charlotte--that is my Mother's name. I was getting tired of bedskirts. It washed up beautifully. It doesn't feel heavy. I think it will do well during our PNW winters.
