This listing is for three 10-12 oz Scrap Bag. Each bag contains varying widths and lengths of fabric. All bags contain strips that are mainly 2 inch to 6 inch in width and vary in length but can be up to 17" wide. Some may contain selvage edges. All fabrics are 100 Percent cotton.

I loved my batch! I've ordered many of these bags lately and I love them. Maybe some of the colors wouldn't have been my first choice but I still love them. I've been using them as mixed bindings. This batch is awesome! I love the variety and colors. All the weights were as advertised. 2 of the 3 were exactly the same, I was hoping for more variety. However, the quality is great, and I will be able to use the duplicates in another project, so overall, am happy with purchase

    • Ruby star society scrap bag was better

On the left is what I received for my Moda scrap bag and on the right from a Ruby Star Society scrap bag. Ruby star does have selvedge on all of the scraps whereas Moda had it on some pieces and not others. But even with this, the Ruby Star Society scraps were wider, and in my opinion, prettier fabric. As they are wider, I feel I can do more with the Ruby Star Society scraps and will purchase those again next time. ... show more

Received the bags quickly. Very pleased with the contents! All contained width of fabric strips with selvage on the short edges. All were basic jellyroll strips. I did notice that a couple (less than 5) had been creased at one end, which caused the cut of the edges to be a little irregular--I assume that's why they were packaged as scrap.V First Bag: 24 strips, 1 double. 14 from Linzee Kull McCray's "Morning Light" and 10 of Moda's Simply Delightful essentials. Second Bag: 30 strips. 4 doubles, 1 triple. 21 from Lella Boutique "Love Notes" collection and 9 of Moda's Simply Delightful essentials (the exact same ones as the first bag). Third Bag: 25 strips, 1 double, 2 triple, 1 quad. 18 from Lella Boutique "Love Notes" collection, 3 Cozy Comfort plaids, and 4 harvest strips from an unknown collection. I ended up with nearly a full jellyroll with almost all the fabrics from the Love Notes collection and already have plans for the quilt I'll make with it. I should be able to include some of the other non-collection strips. In all, a great first experience. I will probably do this again! ... show more

I purchased this product to make a patchwork quilt. While I expected the fabric to be different lengths I didn’t expect it to be mostly selvages of fabric. I found this to be rather a dud purchase

If you are a scrap or strip quilter or crafter, these are a good deal. The bags I received were all strips were at least 1.5" wide or wider once the selvage was cut. I use the selvages in other craft projects so nothing goes to waste! The colors in these bags all had a fall color pallet and most could be used together! Since this was the first time I ordered 3 bags, I'll have to wait on my second 3 bags to see if this is normal. Besides I enjoy having 3 little bags of surprises! You might too! ... show more

Two of the bags were really good fabric strips but one was pretty frayed .Over all I was satisfied with the purchase.

    • I love a surprise
I wanted some material for a small quilt. I got some 2 1/2 inch strips and some with selvage edges of multiple sizes but I was able to get 2 1/2 up to 3 inches from them. They are quality fabric and I am just imagining the quilts I can make. Love them. I have ordered 3 of them so far and will get some more. It’s fun to see the different lines of material for such a small investment. Super happy! ... show more
