This monitor fits the laptop really well. Clear directions printed in the lid so you will always have them handy. Great idea. Easy setup and very secure feeling. Had slow delivery due to Covid19 shipping disruptions but seller was very communicative. Had a question about one feature (the stabilizing extra unit). Again seller quickly answered question that we do not need that part unless we are not attaching the monitor to the laptop. Made perfect sense because the monitor does not need extra help to stay put while attached to the laptop monitor. Extremely lightweight. Definitely will be able to travel with this unit. Just an overall brilliant addition to working from home when you are used to working with two monitors at work. Would definitely recommend to friends and buy again for other laptops.

I encountered some issues with my monitor after a few months and the supplier reacted immediately to send me a new one. Wonderful customer service, would definitely recommend this product. Perfect for at home work with small workspaces and easy for transporting/travel. Screen has great resolution and easy to set up for each use.

I updated my review to 4 stars from 1 star. I invested in a new cord that has made a huge difference in the connectivity. I also purchase industrial strength Velcro to use in place of the magnets. It has helped with the problem of the screen shifting down and has allows me to easily take the screen on and off of my laptop. Old review- see updated review above I’ve had this for less than a year and it has already stopped working. Purchased it so that I’d have the benefit of a second screen while traveling or not working at my desk. It worked great after replacing the magnets with 3M industrial hook & loop!! Now I’m so disappointed that I spend so much money on something that would just stop working. At first, it was flickering when I’d move the cord but now it doesn’t work at all. Black screen of doom. I’ve replaced the cord, nothing… tried different settings on my Mac… nothing. My desk monitors work just fine so it’s not a port or laptop issue. I’d like a replacement but no way to contact the seller. Now I’m tied to my desk everyday to work efficiently and will struggle on my next set of travels. This was a purchase that I had in my cart for a while before I could afford to buy it… that makes this even more disappointing. : (

Overall a good product, the setup wasnt automatic, which was surprising, most devices now are plug and play or as soon as you plug in, it downloads the drivers automatically. The screen and picture are great, as expected of an HD monitor. I am not too happy with the quality of the materials, the sliding is very cumbersome.

Everything was great and easy to set up. However the durability is not good. I hardly turn the screen to the other side and only use it on 1 side but after a year the screen already came apart. The metal hinge for flipping the screen front and backu is flimsy and came out unscrewed. I expect the product to have good design and quality parts to last for long but 1 year that’s it. Not worth the money. Better off invest in others that more durable.

The quality of the screen is excellent. The product is easy to assemble. The only complain I have is the swivel hardware didn't hold up and the plastic cracked easily. Definitely very fragile and not great for the amount of traveling I do. I only had this device for 7 months and it's already cracked at the swivel. The screen still works though. My suggestion for improvement is make the casing more rugged and get away from this swivel hardware/design.

+ monitor is lightweight, about 0,8 kg + if you are used to at least 2 monitors, this is your 'must have' for traveling Recommendation: take additional glue-stickers with you. Probably you will stick this monitor wrong :P and you will have stick your monitor again. I highly recommend to connect it on the left side of the laptop, to avoid collisions with your mouse :) For 17'' laptops: close laptop and place it in front of you (logo is in correct position). Then stick it on the top-left corner. O! before you stick it please make sure that you can slide the monitor to the left :)

This product right fits my needs. It is very convenient to be a portable monitor. It can slide out from your main screen from either side, it can also stand alone in portrait position. If you purchase the kick-stand, it can also stand alone in the landscape position, which I found really convenient. Sometime if I am not on the way, I will have my regular monitor in the middle, and my laptop and this monitor on each side. I previously purchased some other portable monitor, but end up to return it, since it is a little bulky. but this one can attach to your laptop with the magnets and also in the right size (not too big).
