  • Generic 1660 super, this card is a bit on the older side but still is capable for 1080p
I was a little surprised to be see a 2019 model graphics card from Nvidia’s 16 series still being available, but I suppose they were still in production throughout the COVID 19 pandemic when graphics cards were much harder to get. The price for this one isn’t that bad compared to what is being charged by other brands. I honestly have never heard of this brand “Mllse”, but this specific card seems to be sold by numerous different companies with different names, but the cards all look the same except for the branding on the axial fans. This is a 1660 super, technically the second highest performing card from this generation, with GDDR6, unlike the standard 1660 which uses older GDDR5. It performs almost the same as a 1660Ti and is very close to an RTX 3050. The 16 series used the same shaders/CUDA cores as the RTX 2000 series of cards from Nvidia, but lack tensor cores (used for DLSS upscaling) and RT cores (used for ray tracing). So even though this is a recent card (relatively speaking), it DOES NOT support DLSS and this is really unfortunate in my opinion. You can still use FSR upscaling in any games that feature that technology, just as you can on any graphics card with sufficient performance to sustain the frame time cost which is an inherent part of how upscalers work. The question that matters the most and the one I would be asking in 2023 is this- should anyone being buying a 16 series card now? That depends on their budget and what types of games they want to play. I think the overall performance is ok for the price but 6GB of VRAM is very close to the minimum amount for 1080p. There are still a lot of 4GB GPUs in use today, but those will just not be able to run some games at all. 6GB is better but honestly it’s still low enough to cause problems in the near future. But this is only an issue really if you play AAA, single player games. If you play older games, indie games, esports/competitive games, then 6GB should be fine especially if you play at 720p or 900p. As to this specific card, the cooler is very similar to what you see on other 1660 Super cards, from well known brands. The temps when using this card seemed fine and never exceeded 70 Celsius, but I was testing it in my primary case which has very good airflow (and this affects the temperature of the graphics card installed). I didn’t experience any issues with the fans, they were fine and not overly loud in my case. Everything worked as I expected it to and seems like the quality is acceptable. Pros+ Still a decent 1080p GPU, in terms of relative performance Price isn’t bad compared to other 1660 Super cards Cons- This card was released officially in 2019, so it’s getting rather old Doesn’t support DLSS upscaling like newer Nvidia GPUs Only 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort Warranty and support is somewhat unknown with this brand, I never heard of them before Only 6GB of VRAM could definitely be an issue if you play newer, single player games ... show more

  • Great low-budget GPU for moderate gaming and editing
Got this to sport my work desktop running Windows 11 Home. Mounting it was easy onto the motherboard and it only took a few minutes. Installed the drivers, and the 1660 SUPER graphics card ended up being pretty solid. It is comparable to the 3050, 1660 Ti, and the 5700XT. I am using this also for video editing, and it renders much better than the integrated GPU. I do agree that the GPU is from a non-mainstream brand, but the value is observed. Some 1660 Super GPUs are still going for around 200 or more. Definitely worth considering for anyone with a desktop looking to add some performance to their workstation. ... show more

  • The GPU: Nvidia TU116 is not supported
The GPU: Nvidia TU116 is not supported, new & out of the box; for my new TUF gaming X570-Plus PC build, even though the GPU is discreet (as advised by CPU maker).

The media could not be loaded. Bought the card for my streaming server and it performed great for about a week or so then one of the fans started to fail on the device. Included a video of what its currently doing. Waiting on replacement device now. If the new one works for more than 2 weeks, ill update the review. ... show more

  • Outdated and a tad overpriced
If the price was better would be easier to recommend. Better off with a brand with better support options IMO, but if the price is/was super competitive, may be worth checking this out.

  • Good budget video card
This budget video card worked really well on modern games running at high setting at 60 frames a second. It runs quiet. It was really easy to install. It comes with two screwed. I plugged it into my motherboard and installed the drivers. It worked like a charm on my Windows 10 machine. Great if you need an inexpensive video card to tide you over. ... show more
