I have purchased these twice (once a 3-pack, and once this 6-pack) because I personally find them to be much more aesthetically pleasing than the plastic or colored alternatives. They are VERY fragile. The items I have received have come well packaged, and none of have broken in transit. Several have had minor variation in the glass shape itself (nothing that would prevent functionality or is noticeable from a distance, but if you're a details-oriented perfectionist, it might bother you... it doesn't bother me). I have broken 2 out of the 9 in total I have purchased due to user error. One was broken due to not digging out to a hole in the dirt to place the glass rod in with a more sturdy instrument prior to implanting the delicate glass watering bulb. I now like to use chopsticks to circle around a little bit in the dirt to make a nice trench to slide the glass tube into. The second was broken because I did not make sure it was sturdily standing up and supported by soil, so it tipped over and fell and broke. It can also be a little bit of a process to fill them up with water, because there is no secondary hole to release the air. I find that the quickest way to fill them is actually somewhat counter-intuitive in that it works best for me if I only use a very small stream of water so the water is slowing flowing down about half to three-quarters the width of the tube, leaving the other space in the tube open for the air to escape simultaneously to having the water flowing down. So, yes, these are much more delicate than their plastic alternatives. They are also more delicate than the thicker glass bulb alternatives. But personally for me, I find them more aesthetically appealing, so I work around the delicacy and enjoy them. I also am ok with the fact that occasionally, I will probably break one, and thankfully I do not consider them to be prohibitively expensive to replace.

I love these little guys! I hope they work - I just received them and have them in my plants already, however, one of them arrived broken. The tip of a tail was broken off so it won’t hold the water 😕 Disappointed about the broken one but love the other five! not boxing them all back up now and shipping back.

Super cute, but don’t hold much water, and made of very fragile glass. I broke 1 the day I got them, and my landscapers have broken several others with nothing but a leaf blower. Kind of a pain around a pool, because of the broken glass.

Very cute and pretty but useless for watering. Very hard to fill with water and the water does not come out to water your plant. I have tried wrapping the end of the tube and that did not help. I would return if it was not so attractive in my house plant. Don't waste you Money.... Granny
