I absolutely love this purse and couldn’t not write this review! This purse has all the features I was looking for and i’m so happy to have found something that works for me. I’m extremely picky about purses and was on a hunt for a perfect one to take to school that is bigger than a regular purse but smaller than a laptop bag to carry notebooks and occasionally an oversized book. I even bought a laptop bag from Amazon but after it came I realized I didn’t like the bulky size, plus the material didn’t look as classy as it did in pictures (alas I loved the color though, it was dark plum /purple). I actually came across this Mia K purse on overstock.com after googling leather purse, and at first I was skeptical because I’ve never heard of this brand. After looking at it and another purse of the same brand, I was tied between two purses. I didn’t know which one to give preference to since they both felt perfect for me because their dimensions were about the same and have similar features. The other one was this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BS6W15P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_btf_t1_NNmHFbH8QNG3N So after looking at their features, like the small pocket behind the back of the bag, long additional straps etc, I decided to get this one because I need the smaller straps to stay fully down since I’ll be using the longer straps mostly, the smaller straps have rings so it’ll stay fully down and not look odd being halfway down halfway up unlike straps that are fully leather which wouldn’t stay down as much as it is the case with the second purse. The side pockets on the purse and the wallet were a pleasant addition that I wasn’t really looking for. Then I decided to look for it on amazon since their returning process would be quicker in case I need to return. Thankfully I found it on amazon! During my long purse hunt, neither this bag nor any of the other purses of this brand showed up in my previous amazon searches. But it came up when I searched “Mia k purses.” Here on amazon there’s a few more color options whereas on overstock.com there were just 2 (it was on clearance so it was just about gone and the price was a couple of bucks more). I would say the only complaint I have about this purse is they don’t have my desired color. I wanted a dark color besides black (since I’ve used a lot of black bags before) so I was looking for dark plum and if unavailable then navy blue, both of which are not an option with this bag. Out of all the options, the dark green one seemed to be the darkest and least to draw attention to it so I chose it and bought it right away. I love this color too but I still genuinely hope they come up with dark plum color or dark maroon. Other than that, I’m very pleased with my purchase!

Ordered two bags and was to decide between the two for a birthday gift. I lord both so much, I decided to keep both - one for birthday and one for Christmas. The b&w satchel bag is so sophisticated and the cross body bag is perfect for when a small casual bag is needed.
