i’ve never installed tint before, so i watched multiple youtube videos before starting. i did not purchase the installation kit because we had random supplies already. i imagine it might have come out more professional if we had the installation kit. but we got the job done with a spray bottle of dish soap and water, an z-acto knife, and a flat edge tool. i would have not been able to do it without my partners help. i recommend two people, if possible! it doesn’t look perfect, but it gets the job done to tint the rear windows and the large side door on our ford e350 that we are converting. ... show more

I did this myself and maybe with a little more practice I could have nailed this. But both sides come expose and can get very dirty easily. I’ve seen some where there’s a protective layer you peal to minimize the dirty it can collect, this doesn’t have it. And for this product you NEED A HEAT GUN. I hope someone else has better luck with this product ... show more

Installed on my 23 Tacoma TRD. Just did the fronts as the rears had factory tint. Very pleased with result. This film takes skill to install properly. Take your time, do it right and you'll get great results.

For the price, it got the job done. Put this tint on 3 months ago and it's still holding up. Use a credit card wrapped in microfiber rag and that's a good squeegee. Also, don't us a heat gun or a hair dryer or else the tint will start to crinkle and look bad - i learned the hard way

So if you dont have experience this tint is good to learn with cheap in price and hard to install its thin and wrinkles super easy. its great for practice if you can put this on and it doesn't have bubbles or creases you will be able to use any tint on any vehicle and do a good job. If you have no experience and want a professional looking finish dont start here you will not achieve a nice finish . ... show more
