Sumptuous! The green of these sheets is so nice and is consistent across the pieces in set. No strange dye issues, no bad smells. This was purchased for one thing only, as a futon cover that the hair of pets will never stick to. In that case it was a two for one so when we launder one, we can replace it with the second and alternate them. As it hasn't been used tightly fitted on a bed mattress I cannot speak to the stitching. There have been no problems laundering it (it is washed only by itself-no other items) on warm/gentle with normal liquid laundry soap. The feel is so nice, and the cat lays on it and the dogs nuzzle up against it and it has not had any issues with hair sticking to it at all. The fabric is very pretty and feels so nice against the skin! It did come with all items described in listing and we have yet to use the pillowcases, but all looks good. Was a very good value. When we purchase another set for the futon we will size down (from the king size we ordered this time to a queen) and see if it is a snugger fit for the standard futon. ... show more

    • Great value, but some "gotchas"

For the low price, you get a very comfortable, smooth, and silky sheet. However, there are a few caveats: 1. The top sheet is smooth/soft on only one side. I usually sleep with the smooth side down, but the unfinished top surface of the top sheet doesn't look the best in the rare times the comforter is not covering it completely. 2. The sheet catches toenails and calluses very easily. In just a couple months, the lower portion of my bottom sheet has become rough, likely from my toenails and calluses catching the fabric. 3. Related to the above point, the sheet is not durable and can easily get damaged after only a few gentle washing cycles. Strings start to pull out, and the sheet becomes less smooth over time. In short I'm happy to have this for the smooth feel and good value, but in the future I may be looking for a more durable alternative. ... show more

The sheets are great - they launder well, they feel so nice and it was a good deal money-wise. However you will not be able to keep blankets, pillows or the top sheet on the bed, as they are so slippery, they fall all over the place and even drag the comforter off the bed in the middle of the night. My husband had a fist fight with them on the second night when our blankets were falling off for two nights straight - it was an interesting 3am. I haven't figured out a way to keep the top sheet, pillows and blankets from sliding off. ... show more

Sheets looked nice in the package. That's the ONLY positive thing I have to say about these sheets. On to the negative. The band for the fitted sheet is terrible! It does not stay on the bed as it should. Not even my elastic fitted sheet clips help. The material is so slippery I can't sleep comfortably. I've used these sheets for almost 2 weeks and haven't gotten a single good night sleep. When I lay down and adjust my body into a comfortable place, it's hard to maintain that position because the sheets are so slippery. My blankets do not stay on the bed because the sheets are slippery. My pillow will not stay under my head *at all* because the sheets are slippery. The material is very thin *see thru* All around worst material no matter how many times I wash it to break the fibers down. If you enjoy good sleep DO NOT BUY THIS TYPE OF SHEETS!!!! I'm going to Walmart to buy another set and I'm throwing these sheets in the garbage. Worst material and absolute waste of money ... show more
