I weight 180lb, have injured knees and relatively wide feet. It is a struggle to find suitable shoes to play badminton. I've been buying Yonex badminton shoes, volleyball shoes from Adidas, Asics and court shoes from Solomon but none of them really fit my needs - comfort in width, enough arch support, fast to move around, good grip on the floor and ankle protection. I bought Z4 and Tornado from Mizuno in the past and they did not work well. However, momentum 2 works like a dream. It solved every issue and cost much less. I didn't realize shoes made such a big difference in gameplay and speed. I was wearing basic Nike's but after 30 minutes my feet would ache. Ended up getting Mizuno 2 Wave Momentum in size 8.5 in March (4 months ago) to replace those. There's a little bit of a break in period but once I broke them in every part of my playing improved because of the solid grip (without it being sticky). I have wide, flat feet and these feel comfortable for up to 3 hours of play. My rec teammates have complimented them and I've recommended they get a pair too. If you look at the photo I posted there's a little bit of color skimming off the inner parts of the shoes, but otherwise stitching and structure feels solid. I bought these for $140 in March, today they're on sale for $100 so got a second pair. ... show more
