I remembered from when I got a fitting 10 years ago when I bought my first pair of the same shoes at a athletic shoe shop in Atlanta that did you run small so I ordered a 9 1/2 when I wear nine. They looked so nice and I took them out for my first jog this morning! The shoe has a lot of cushioning, and I have flat feet and bunions and I felt supported. They’re not light… they’re kind of on the heavier side but I still comfortable. Don’t wear no show socks you may get a blister. Wear low cut crew socks so that the shoe doesn’t rub the back of your achilles tendon above your heel.

While I’m not a runner. I find these shoes are perfect walking shoes, providing comfort and support. They give me energy to start the day, ready to close all my fitness goals. At the end of the day, my legs and feet are not at all tired. I love turquoise and orange combination and have received many compliments on them. For me, Mizuno is the only shoe I will ever order.

I own a pair of Mizuno Wave inspire 14 and I loved them. Recently, I developed plantar fasciitis and these were the only one that buffered my heel while walking. I also have several pairs of Brooks, but they aren't as good as the Mizuno Wave inspire 14. I ordered the Mizuno Wave inspire 18 to replace my old Mizunos 14. I anticipated a similar feel, however the new model hurt my heel as soon as I put them on. They aren't as deep in the heal area and they also feel very hard. The inspire 14 were more springy in the heel and somehow buffered the foot from the impact. That being said, the shoes look nice and well made. They will be good for those without plantar fasciitis. My regular size is 7, but I've been ordering 7.5 for Brooks and 8 for Mizuno brand.

I pronate bad! I have ran 5 marathons, three half marathons, one half Ironman and one World Championship Ironman. All in the Wave Inspire. I have tried other brands. Each time resulting in injuries. The latest was the On Clouds which gave me IT band issues. But when I go back to Mazuno’s it’s truly like home. I have no hip or knee issues due to the stability in these shoes.
