If you are not looking to waste your money, go look at some other tip repair kits. This kit may be cheap, but it doesn’t work at all. The kit has several major flaws that make it impossible for you to use and may cause you to waste a more expensive tip you may buy. I bought a separate tip to put on my cue, but simply bought the repair kit because I had no tip cement or a clamp. I saw it was cheap and had like 4 stars so I bought it without reading any of the reviews. Only in hindsight do I see that the 1 star reviews are 100% correct. First of all, my cue is relatively thick (13mm tip size). The clamp itself barely fits around the tip of my cue. It was so tight that when I tried to use it, it left some light scratches on the shaft and ferrule. The clamp itself isn’t even functional, even for a thinner cue. The top of the clamp which is supposed to hold the tip down is bent at an angle, so when the clamp is fastened to the cue, it only presses one side of the tip down and the other side is left propped up. Even if you did manage to get the clamp to press down the tip evenly, it doesn’t actually apply any pressure to the tip. One of the other reviews says something like “they might as well have given you a rubber band to hold the clamp on”, and to be honest I think that might be more effective than what they did. The tip cement is also not functional, after rigging up my own system to clamp the tip on, I left it to set overnight and less than 20 games later my tip came flying off the ferrule after a shot. Totally unacceptable. As I said, I didn’t buy the kit to use the included tips or chalk, but they are absolute garbage. The tips would likely fall apart while playing. All in all, just don’t buy this. Go look for something else and don’t waste your money. ... show more

Can’t beat it for value for money! The kit actually came with multiple size tips not just one size so likely you will end up with one that fits your cue. Only downside the tip shaper is rubbish, but I expected that since the most commonly purchased item with this kit was the “bowtie” tip shaper.
