It feels so soft and I got a lot of compliments from my room mates on how elegant it looks. 3.5 stars rounded up. This duvet cover is SO pretty and I was so excited about it, but we ultimately took it off our bed after only about 2 months. The king size is pretty small. It barely covered our whole bed even though our duvet is oversized. It's not super soft, but the quality feels nice. Unfortunately, the color transferred like crazy and the fur on our cats stomach turned blue, as did the bottom of our bathtub from the dye washing off while we showered so we decided to put it away.

I was so happy to find this set and bonus 100% cotton. Was looking for a duvet cover to go with my dark blue bedroom and I happened to find these and I am so happy with them. Soft and warm but they breath well with my down comforter. It is becoming hard to find 100% cotton in bedding everything is microfiber now days but these have a lovely design and the buttons are not in the way or uncomfortable. I would tell anyone how is looking for a duvet cover to try this one. I got the full in peacock and it is just lovely.

I love this duvet cover. It is so pretty. It's smooth. The ties worked fine. It doesn't hold my duvet in place because neither have 8 ties. I just fluff it and it works fine. Haven't washed it or dried it yet, so IDK if it wrinkles badly. Smooth enough I think pet hair wouldn't stick too bad. Can't try that as my wonderful doggie passed right before I got this. The pillow cases have buttons, so they stay on easily. Did I mention how pretty it is?

This is very strange fabric; it's as if it's coated in wax or something. I'm surprised that you can call this 100% cotton... that might be the fiber, but they don't have to declare the coating? Stinks when you open it, like stale grease, but I assume that will wash out. It's not very heavy cotton; it's just made stiff by the coating. Darker than I was expecting, but that's okay. I got Pattern5201, which appeared to be sort of a dark teal online, but it's more of a dark blue. Granted, with a touch of green to it. I am going to wash this and suspect it will meet my needs if the stink goes away and if it becomes not as stiff as it is. I got this because I have a dog, and she sometimes sleeps on the bed. She can be a bit vigorous, and I just can't have delicate fabric on the top of my bed. Although this is thin cotton, it's also a fairly tight weave, so I think it should work. I didn't see a good description of the pillowcase design when I ordered. They are 'pocket' pillowcases, where there is a hem folded back on one side to catch the pillow in. I don't have king-size pillows, but I've sometimes just folded a king-size case back inside the pillow and it works fine, and I will guess that it will work fine here, too. If not (and if I decide that I care), I'll sew them to a shorter length. Again, I think this will work for me in the sense of being attractive and sturdy enough... as long as the stink washes out. I will report back later.
