I’ve taken this Mixi 20” Carry-On on multiple flights now, and it’s easily become my favorite piece of luggage. I loved it so much I bought two more! The wide handle design makes it super stable, no more wobbling when pulling it through airports, and the handle itself feels sturdy and comfortable to hold. It’s surprisingly lightweight yet durable, and the hardshell has held up great through overhead bin shuffling and hotel transfers. The interior is well organized with zippered sections that make packing and unpacking fast and tidy. I can fit everything I need for 3–4 days easily. It fits perfectly in overhead compartments on all the major airlines I’ve flown with, and it looks sleek enough to pass for luxury luggage at half the price. If you travel often and want something durable, quiet, and smartly designed, this carry-on is a win.

I had to replace another suitcase ruined by an airline - seems I'm buying one or more suitcases every year. This one caught my eye with the wide handle (so no lumps inside) and the lock on the top, not on the side. It is easy to pack, although I wish it were an inch or so thicker, shoes are more challenging to pack that one might expect. I do like very much that is has two zippered covers inside, I am not a fan at all of those elastic straps that many suitcases use on one side. In fact, the two zippered covers were probably what cinched the buy. There a couple of things I don't like, most of all the wheels are just the right size to catch in every elevator slot, I cannot roll this into an elevator, I have to pick it up to get in or out. It rolls so easily that it rolls away at the slightest incline - and my driveway is inclined, so I have to sit the suitcase on the grass to stop it from rolling away while I'm trying to get the car door open ... who thought rolling easily would be a problem? Anyway, I thought enough of it, I bought a second one, but they don't quite roll together as easily as I would have expected down a hotel hallway or to the airport check-in desk. Still, much improved over what I had, can recommend this suitcase (or maybe check out the model that expands, I see how that might be good).

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I’ve had this luggage for almost a year and I’ve done multiple cross-country flights, including checking my bags. I have not had one issue, one scratch, any broken handles or wheels, or any problems at all. They still look and feel like new and I get compliments every time I wheel them through the airport! INITIAL REVIEW: I desperately needed new luggage and was drawn to the wide handle style. I shopped around and finally decided on this because I loved the color and it had all the features I wanted (hard-sided, wide handle, spinner wheels, combination lock built in, etc.). I absolutely LOVE it, I am so glad I bought this (in 2 sizes), I love using my luggage. It fits a ton, the design of the zippers inside is both super high quality and helps me keep my packing more organized, but the design overall is just fantastic. This is great luggage, I would definitely recommend it!

Loved this suitcase when I first received it. The space is great, the zippers are some of the smoothest I've used and the wheels are fantastic - very smooth and sturdy. The wide handle is great for handling and maneuvering, and it makes packing the interior much easier without the bars going down the center. On the way out during the first trip I took with this, I noticed that the handle was not locking properly at the top - the clip that pops out one side to lock it in place was stuck "open" and retracted. Annoying, but not a total dealbreaker, since the other side still worked. Unfortunately, after checking the bag once and retrieving it, the clip is now stuck "out", and I can't use the handle at all any more. It's essentially useless at this point with no working retractable handle. There does not appear to be a way to contact Mixi for a repair or replacement online, and looking more closely online it does appear that this same design is sold under multiple brands, which should have also been a red flag. Would not but again.
