These are great! super soft and warm. I wore them with a dress and a skirt in 40-degree weather and was perfectly comfortable. The feet do not have the fleece, it is just the stocking material. You do really have to pull them up and get them laying right but once you do they are sheer and look like skin underneath. HOWEVER, a few cautions. I am 5'3" and they come way up on my waist and are a bit tight. They don't roll though which is nice. Also, I am about 125 lbs and still have to pull them up over my thighs. They have enough stretch to fit me well but I would imagine it might not be the most comfortable fit for anyone much larger as they already feel snug on me. Someone who is taller would probably think they fit their legs well where I have to pull the extra material up.

I wore this when the cold front came in. The wind was what was hard to keep warm in my dress. This kept me warm all day and evening. It is snug for XL but it's like compression legging type of fit. So it is comfortable and I didn't have any problems with it moving or sliding at all. I loved that the foot area was not insulated. I wore socks and boots no issues there.

So the concept of these is awesome. They DO look like sheer hose when you are wearing them, and they are warm. Four stars for those things, which is everything I wanted them to do. They offer support and are tight like shapewear. The cons - these say they are one size for anyone up to 160+..not true. I am 5'5 145lbs, and they are too small, I have to stuff into them like sausage, the butt part does not really fit and has this weird tight gap thing that no amount of moving fabric around will fix. I do not have a great butt, which leads me to the only conclusion that these are not actually made for all. You'll have better luck if you weigh less than I do. The second con is that I am 5'5, which is really not that tall, and because the fleece lining ends at the ankles, it results in the tights pulling up tighter over the feet. What this means is that holes will be worn in feet portion quickly. Mine gained holes in both feet on the top on the second wear, which is very annoying. If they were just a little bigger, I would buy these again, but the weird too small gap thing and the quick appearance of holes make these a no go for me again.

I purchased these for an outside wedding to wear under my skirt in 35-degree weather. The look is a great balance between the classic "translucent" look and warmth. The fleecey lining definitely kept me very very warm. I couldn't even feel the cold, except on my feet because the fleecey lining stops at the ankle. One day I layered longer socks and wool long underwear underneath, which was extra (maybe even too) warm. My chief complaint, and deal breaker for me, is that these tights are simply not long enough for me. I am 5'8" and weigh 130lbs. With these, I felt that I had to choose between having a low-hanging crotch in the tights, or having extremely tight pressure in the toes. You can see how pinched my toes are in the photo. I actually ended up in pretty decent pain at the end of the night, after I even felt discomfort within an hour (but it was so cold that I didn't dare remove them). The tights pressed so tightly against the outside my toes that both of my big toes became very irritated and red. The seam at the toe is also a bit odd - it is very long, so you will have seam showing if your shoes are only cap toed (see the excess fabric in the picture along the sides of my foot). Overall, if you are under 5"5 or so, these are a great option! If you're any bit taller, consider finding a different brand or purchasing the "stirrup" fit and just wearing black calf-length socks underneath.

These are perfect for the colder weather. Was worried about the fit due to some reviews stating it was not meant for women with a bigger booty. I am one of those women, but these fit great and felt great!

I wanted to love these but they tore within one week of wearing. It also started to pill heavily around the ankles so I would not recommend.
