These curtains are so beautiful, and well made. I love the velvet texture and high quality of material. They feel heavy and luxurious for a great price! They do a good job of keeping my room dark and blocking out the light during the day. I highly recommend, i already bought a second set!

I should preface this review with an admission that I did not purchase these drapes for the usual purpose, which is to block sunlight. I didn't buy these for a window at all, but to block the light from a sink vanity. My husband and I bought a house that was built in the 80s, and it seems to me that 80s contractors believed "open concept" was a great idea in the main bedroom and en suite. For some reason, the vanity and sink for the en suite bathroom is in the middle of the closet and the room with the toilet and shower/tub. My husband gets up at 5:45 AM because he's a masochist, and I prefer to wake up naturally with the sun. But when he gets up to get ready, he turns on the vanity light which lights up the room and wakes me up. I'm not particularly please to be awake before the sun, it's not natural. As a short term solution, I took some light diffusing voiles and hung them from a tension rod across the opening. Aside from disguising the sight of the vanity itself, they didn't help with the light. So I bought these drapes at 96" in the lovely green. It says olive, I say these are too dark for olive, but as I have varying shades of green in the main bedroom, it isn't an issue.plus I love the color. The were initially a little shorter than my existing voiles, but that was due to being severely wrinkled from packaging. After I took my hand held travel steamer to them, the feel straight. They hang at the correct length post steam, and when my husband pulls them together in the morning, they do effectively block the light from the vanity. However, I did notice that when I was on the other side and the sun was filtering through the window in the bedroom that the sunlight DID show through the fabric from the other way. I don't know if these would be 100% effective at blocking sunlight to a blackout effect. I'm rating them 5 stars because: they are pretty, the fabric is soft, they were much heavier than I anticipated for the price, the color is lovely, and they have performed the office for which they were intended beautifully.

I love these curtains. They are so soft. I have them throughout my house. The color is luxurious and I have repurchased them and find the material is consistent with the original. You get a lot of fabric and I had some of the extra length turned into matching pillow cases. They look great.

Too bad they don't match the Miulee olive green velvet pillow covers and blanket. The pillow covers and blanket are a little more yellow than the curtains. I purchased two packs (so four panels), lengths and widths were as advertised. The curtains are a nice substantial weight, they are soft, and really a lovely shade of green. They block a lot of light when closed without being blackout curtains. I have sheers under them and keep them open. I am just super disappointed that they don't match the blanket or pillow covers, also olive green, for a cohesive look. This is a quality control issue and needs to be addressed, which is why I knocked off a star. I already threw out the packaging for the curtains and the blanket. I guess I will return the pillow covers instead. With all that said, provided you aren't trying to do a match like I am, these are nice curtains, esp. for the money. Will add photos soon.

The colors are so rich and beautiful, they are soft and luxurious feeling without being too heavy, but they do a great job blocking light and insulating. They wash well in a washing machine - I have noticed no color bleeding.

I bought 3 sets of these in a peacock blue color, hoping for the best. They are lovely. The color and the texture are perfect. They look very expensive but at a good price. They are definitely black out curtains, which i was worried about. I've paired them with a set of cream colored linen curtains so that I ask very light on the rim without being able to see through the windows. Straight or I'd the box, they were very soft, no weird smells, and the hung very neatly. I highly recommend these if you're looking for that soft velvet look.
