Nail glue works great but does take awhile to cure but it still holds well. I’m really impressed with these nail tips and honestly they have been perfect for me as a beginner. They’re easy to work with and don’t feel intimidating at all even if you’re just learning how to do your own nails at home. The shape and quality make them simple to apply and they look great once they’re on. One big tip that made a huge difference for me is using plenty of glue. When I do that the nails stay put and last so much longer without lifting or popping off. Taking that extra step has completely changed my results and made the whole process feel more successful. Using these nail tips has saved me so much money compared to going to the salon. I can do my nails at home whenever I want and still get a look I’m happy with. If you’re new to doing your own nails and want something beginner friendly that actually works I would definitely recommend these.

These are amazing for a beginner nail girlie like myself! I have very weak nails, so being able to glue these on make my nails look so much better. They’re extremely durable and looks very good with gel polish on top. The glue isn’t great whatsoever, but I just put a stronger nail glue with them and it works just fine!

I wanted to wait and write this after I had a chance to remove the nails. Now that I have, here we go. So I read the reviews and decided to just toss the glue and light and use other brands I know work better. Application of these was super easy. I don’t know why it’s necessary to use the light but I did anyways. It doesn’t seem to make them stronger or change the thickness etc. but they looked nice once I was done. Then I used color gel polish to pretty them up. When I was done they looked as good as my press ons I’ve been using forever, but seemed tougher. I got over a week before I saw them lifting. I simply put a new top coat of gel on and cured again. They were fine for another week. I’m tough on my hands. I mean dishes, dirty diapers, digging out in my flower beds. I even decorated for my daughter’s ice show with these & didn’t have a single issue with hold. Now let’s talk removal. This is where my rating drops from 5-3 stars. It’s horrible trying to get them off. There’s no actual removal instructions so I came to the listing and searched to get some generic steps about soaking in acetone. Here’s the problem…it basically molds the tips to your natural nails and makes it impossible to get off easily. I had to scratch and peel. Took me forever. On my other hand I soaked cuticle oil under the edges and let it sit until I could pop them off like press ons. It worked but wasn’t the most gentle process. I don’t know if I’ll use them again because removal was such a hassle, but I did really like how they looked and held up enough to consider it.

Listen to the other reviews when they say don’t be afraid to use that glue, you need more than a little dab. It really takes some practice, I had to re-glue a few times, I was also worried that some of the nails didn’t fit right but that’s what the nail files for! I will say you definitely need a glossy top coat if you don’t want your nails matte because the nail polish will dry down that way. This is my first attempt and I’m happy with them. I will update if any of them pop off or with any other info I think I should share. Also to get a cleaner look definitely buy some pointed q-tips, I bought a 200 pack for $5 on amazon but this set came first and I was too excited to wait that’s why I couldn’t clean around my nails as much as I could but those will definitely help especially when you’re painting your dominant hand, that one always comes out different because you’re not used to using your other hand obviously haha. But I love them so far, I’m also using the nails in the pack that are too big or small to use as nail polish samples just to see how the nail polish would look on the actual nail as opposed to just looking at the bottle which helps you pick a color!
