3 times a charm. 1ST XXX too big, 2nd XX comfy but loose in chest then lost some weight, 3rd 1X perfect! Very stretchy in chest area. Went by guide bust size as was a 46 DD, down to 44/42 D to DD depending, 5/7 184. NOTE: Only wearing support hose under to give you an idea as I hate support garments. This dress is one of those "I WANT to love it" situations!! Because visually??! It's Absolutely STUNNING!!! From the sequins, to the lace, to the satin, & definitely the whole mermaid vibe–– It's giving GLAM, it's giving MAIN CHARACTER, it's giving "someone hand me a glass of champagne immediately!!" BUT......Let's talk sizing! This dress runs about TWO full U.S. sizes small & I learned that the HARD way!! What I expected to be a flattering, & elegant fit turned into a very intense, full–body negotiation with fabric!!! The ruching & ruffles are GORGEOUS, but they DON’T have very much forgiveness if the sizing isn’t PERFECT!! Once I accepted reality ( & ordered up) it fit MUCH better & looked AMAZING on me!! But, that EXTRA step was DEFINITELY frustrating!!! Also, because it's more fitted, there's not a ton of stretch!!! So comfort depends HEAVILY on getting the RIGHT size from the start!!! Quality–wise?? It’s actually EXTREMELY nice for the price!!! It also photographs BEAUTIFULLY!!!! But, like I said, Just be prepared to size up––Seriously, Don't second guess it unless you enjoy holding your breath for extended periods of time!!! The material is heavy enough to keep you warm but lightweight enough to let you heat up the dance floor!!! Everything considered, bit’s a pretty dress with major WOW factor, but the sizing issue knocks it down a couple stars for me!!
