Take the time to size them correctly if possible. They’re a perfect fit to the measurements given for me and I have a really wide foot. Plus, I also have a high instep. The sole is quality and the material on top is nice and soft, but sturdy at the same time. They’re comfortable to wear as well. Can’t wait to wear them for hiking in the falls!

We used these to get across terrain of coral and rough, rocky surfaces to get into water for snorkeling. They were great for that. The shoes have no really support so they would not be good for walking a long distance or hiking. They are hard to clean of all the sand that gets in them but that hasn't really been a problem as I had similar problems with open, strap sandals. The drawstring closing cord with toggle worked well: the shoe opened plenty wide enough for my very wide foot but also closed down very snuggly so I felt secure while walking. They were then snug enough to not worry about losing them once you got in the water. The bottom, outer sole protected my feet from the sharpness but I still had to balance on the terrain; it felt like protected, barefoot walking. Again, a great shoe for what we wanted.
