I bought like four different pairs of barefoot shoes to try. I always go back to these and basically never take them off. I have been a devoted wearer of snooty high-end athletic shoes but have found my feet still hurt. I wondered if a barefoot style with a wide toe box would be good. Well, these babies are just screaming to be on your feet. They are very light weight - and I worried that my feet would hurt, like in my mind I figured I needed so much more material around my feet. You don't. All of a sudden, your feet are free - yet stylish and concealed and ready for the world. I do not slip in these (others I find are not very good in that department - these excel in keeping you grounded) I have taken them to the ocean and in the garden, I don't need to worry about getting them wet because they are basically designed to take you into aquatic situations. I have worn these nearly every day and after two months they still show no signs of wear. I got them dirty and simply washed them with gentle detergent and they rinsed and dried nicely like new. I have not experienced anything like blisters or callouses which I figured would happen. These are such champs for my hooves that I intend to buy their other styles. I ordinarly wear a 7.5 or 8 in women's, and went for the 8.5 and I have never been happier. So for total toe freedom, you may want to opt for a half size larger than your ordinarily wear.

I am very pleased with these water shoes. I normally wear a women’s size 8, sometimes an 8.5, and I ordered the W8/M6.5, and they fit me perfectly. I really like the style and the way the shoes look. They are lightweight and very comfortable, and they definitely gripped the wet rocks by our lake. Overall I am happy I bought them and would definitely buy again.

These shoes are comfortable and true to size. I read a negative review about the color on the side of the rubber soles not being visible. I experienced the same thing with mine. The colors are on the bottom and not visible

These water shoes are worth the extra dollars I paid for them. I took them to the beach and they stayed secured to my feet through swimming, waves, and walking. These shoes are comfortable for my often aching feet. They are lightweight and apprar durable, so far. I was surprised that there was almost no sand between my toes as the insoles kept most of what made it through, beneath the insole and the water drains quickly. My feet were protected from seashells while walking down the beach and short distances on the boardwalk.

Purchased seam-free, soft ankle, navy 9W (or 41) after years of buying this brand and others for waterpark use (see photos) PROS Super comfy knitted ankle No ankle stitching, chafing and searing into my ankle Easy on and off Super plushy, easy-to-dry, removable insole Soft and comfy all-over, non-scratch, knitted design Very flexible outsole design Length-wise accurate Large enough pull tabs at ankle and tongue area, bonus they fit through clip hangers for hanging dry 1 minor snag only over 3 days regular use and wash No outsole/upper separation or fraying CONS Massively uncomfortable, boa constricting laces, was forced to cut them off (see photos) for some relief Narrow to med shoe, constantly constricting my foot, not for wide feet like other options from this brand Ankle was snug, not for larger legs Skidded poolside, not skid-free like others Insanely ugly rectangular toe design Lack of decent color options, blue is more brilliant in some of my photos, in real life think pvt school navy While thin, knit takes longer to dry than non-knit They’re fine to keep, would not buy this particular water shoe again nor recommend.
