I am very hard on purses and they tend to wear fairly quickly because I carry a lot of items to deal with allergies and chronic pain and throw them around. My last Mitegra performed well under all conditions and lasted a very long time. The larger size is great for me because it is big enough for my Kindle, too. I had this same purse for a couple years, really liked it but was starting to show wear so ordered another in a Navy Blue instead of black. This purse is made smaller than the black one, Each compartment is smaller, the side designed for a water bottle or phone is too small now as it cannot hold a phone or bottle. Well, sometimes you get what you paid for.....and sometimes you don't. I didn't get the bag that was depicted in the listing. As you can see from the photos, the bag I got has completely different zipper pulls. logo badge, and handles. The overall shape and design of the bag is similar, but it is not the same. Inside is the biggest difference. While it has two small open inside pockets, it is supposed to have two zipped pockets, or at least another compartment (like a divided main compartment). I really need these extra pockets to keep all my things organized and separated from each other. I expected the bag to be bigger based on the video which is supposed to depict the large bag that I ordered. All I can say is that the model must be about 4 ft tall for the bag to look that big next to her (or maybe the angle of the camera could explain the size disparity). Customer review photos also seem to depict larger bags, but I have to claim some responsibility for not really paying attention to the dimensions that are indeed clearly given in the description. The bag I received is about the same size--give or take a few centimeters (the measuring tape in my photos shows the inch side). Since I don't have an I-Pad I forgot how small they really were since one is shown against both small and large versions of the bag. HOWEVER, if I had received the bag depicted in the listing, I would have gone ahead and kept it since it still could have been useful, though not for the purpose I wanted a really big purse that still was smaller than an actual suitcase or carry-on bag. I spend a lot of time going to medical appointments and such, so I like to carry along some sort of activity (coloring book, pencils or pens) or some knitting. For some reason I can't seem to find an inexpensive purse in the stores. All I see are huge totes for laptops and backpacks. So...I rated this bag very poorly for weight because it is only as light as most purses this size. It's not heavy by any means, but I wouldn't call it particularly light. I shot the photos outside in the late afternoon (The Golden Hour) so at least you can see the color, details, and overall quality. The bag looks very drab indoors, but it is a decent purple shade. It also seems to have heavy duty but somewhat stiff zippers, and even though this was an Amazon warehouse item (used, but like new), it seemed well made and someone would be happy with this. My bag also did not have a bad odor as reported by other negative reviews. However, it is not the bag I ordered. If you look closely at the logo patch it reads "Huaeryouyue", which is probably the Chinese manufacturer name. The bag has an attached "Mintegra" tag. That is because this and the other bag I wanted are those "blanks" (I don't remember the proper term). A factory produces various items that another company will then label with their own brand name. Mintegra probably resources their items from different companies which is fine. In a different listing from the one I actually ordered from, Mintegra actually does sell the Huaeryouyue bag. However I didn't order THAT bag and its going back. I won't be ordering from Mintegra again! Because of the price and because I knew it was a Chinese-made mass-produced item, I actually didn't have big expectations. I mean, I've ordered plastic earrings that cost about $3 and was shipped FREE from CHINA! I love them because they were exactly what was advertised. I wish I did have the funds to buy something of high quality that would last for years, but I still deserve to get what I ordered! Honestly, I still feel like crying!!! Note: I sent the bag back and Amazon credited my account. I preferred the credit rather than a direct refund because I still need a bag! ... show more

I really like this bag- perfect size, lots of pockets and the strap is comfortable. I wish there were pockets for pens on one of the ring zippered pockets. The other thing that I'm really disappointed in is the size of the water bottle pockets. They don't even fit a water bottle. My only use for these two water bottle pockets is for my fold up shopping bags. Otherwise the bag is pretty great. I was happy to find a blue purse that goes with jeans but looks okay with other clothes too. I don't really like the cross body look, but I was able to double the strap so I can wear the purse on my shoulder. I'm small enough that I can wear it across my body if I choose to, especially in a crowd or traveling.
