The media could not be loaded. I would say these mocs are perfect if they had a little more room in the toe box. I go barefoot a lot and wear minimal shoes so I don't need arch support or much padding. But most minimalist shoes mowdays have a wider toe box as well and I'm used to having space for my toes to spread out. These mocs are shaped more like traditional shoes., meaning they squeeze your toes together, particularly they tend to push your big toe outward towards your other toes. I think if you get them a size up, this may not be a problem. I got mine in the same size as I would get a normal shoe and they are a little tight in the toes. If I had to purchase again I'd go with a hard sole moccasin instead. These are okay but thin material, so if you will be wearing these outside, get a hard sole.

I have a 10 1/2 foot. I read a review that said they had a 10 1/2 foot and got the size 10, so I got a size 10 also. It is too short for my foot and I know I would be getting blisters on my heal if I kept wearing them. I ordered another pair in size 11. UPDATE: I received the size 11's. They fit a lot better, but they are a little looser than I want. Size 10 1/2 would be perfect. Update: I love these, they are exactly what I wanted. The only thing is that the tongue should be longer, they keep slipping out from under the knot. Update: The tongue REALLY needs to be longer, they keep slipping out from under the knot. These are those shoes that it takes a initial continuous wear to break in that is so worth it in the end. I look forward to wearing mine, they are so comfortable, an extension of enjoying bear feet with some protection. I had a brand new pair that by accident I was forced to wear all day while running around manhattan at Christmas. That day did it and now they are like socks. These shoes changed my life, and I will NEVER be without at least one pair if not having two as backups. If I could pick one shoe to wear the rest of my life, this is it. Get one pair, practice with them, learn how to not break the laces and go. I avoid wet days, but other wise go. Last pair I wore all I wanted, for one year finishing them off with a trip to the west coast Burbank-Joshua tree and up trail desert hiking. Finally wore a hole in the sole and wore them home until a cat pissed in them. A month later in big Apple with a new pair! I’m from the future, Buy these and the $39 bidet from Amazon and thank me later by paying it forward. ... show more

I held off on this less than stellar review, because I wrote to the seller about a week ago, but have not had a response. Had they responded I would have refrained from the details of this review. The moccasins came with a synthetic insole, the exact shape you would find in a pair of converse or similar shoes. It was hard and uncomfortable, even hot to the soles of my feet. I was disappointed that they felt nothing like the same brand moccasins I had years ago. I forgave the fact that they are not made in the USA, but the Dominican Republic. That seemed strange to me. Before wearing them, I thought of returning them, but decided to try and remove the insoles. The first one tore. I found they are very securely glued in place, and impossible to completely remove. I went ahead, the next day, and did my best to tear out the insoles. I was able to remove most of the material, and the moccasins are actually comfortable now. I am happy with them after my sloppy modification. I simply wish the seller had responded to my comments. Be aware of the things I mentioned. I don't regret my purchase. ... show more
