I was getting ready to add what I think was a great review (see below) when I inspected the item’s seams carefully and found a hole (last picture). As mentioned below we just received the item this morning. So that kinda sucks. It’s on the seam and easy enough to stitch myself but with a brand new item I wish I didn’t have to. Shipping was very fast. Zipper seems sturdy. Seams are reinforced well. We had 3.5 XL vacuum seal bags that were full of stuffed animals! The seals were ruined from opening and closing the bags to access toys so frequently. I began to look for other options. There are lots of companies making bags similar to this one by MiniOwl and all in the same general price range ($25-$50). I went with MiniOwl because of their customer reviews- not that they were all 5 stars but because they seemed to be very responsive to customer concerns and complaints (ie. zippers were bad so they fixed them and offered to replace old items). Item arrived 5 days sooner than expected with free shipping (w/o prime)!!! Before and after photos below show our toys and then my 3yo sitting on the “throne” ;) We kept out the minions because their eyes/goggles are hard and the elephant was too large to fit. Additionally each child kept out a snuggle toy but otherwise they all fit!!! Material is thick enough that even dark colored toys aren’t visible through it. And while some complained it was lumpy, I was surprised how easy it was too smooth... it’s going to be jumped/sat on a lot so I don’t care that it isn’t perfect and as suggested I could easily smooth it more with a blanket- but I don’t find that necessary. We only got it today so I can’t comment on durability but as mentioned and pictured, seams seem sturdy!

If your kids have a ton of stuffed animals they love but nowhere to put them, then this is the answer. I am so happy with my purchase! I bought 2 thinking we would have to buy another but nope. They are huge!!! We have a giant Costco bear in each one plus a ton of smaller animals. The kids loved stuffing them and love lounging on them even more. You guys they are seriously huge!!! I will even lay on them on our living room floor. The material they are made of is thick and I see it holding up a very long time. The company reached out to me directly and asked how I was enjoying their product. I thought that was a great gesture. My favorite thing about this company which I didn't realize until they reached out to me, is that they donate a portion of their profit to the autism foundation!! That is huge for me because I have 2 nephews on the spectrum and I work in a school specially for kiddos on the spectrum. I have a feeling we will purchase 1 or 2 more in the future. Thanks mini owls for a great purchase and donating to a foundation close to our heart.

So far, so good. We purchased this as a means to 'contain' my son's stuffed animal collection. We also liked the bonus that the material has nice eye-appeal and matches our colors in the room. Also, another nice feature is that this bean bag can serve as a pillow/support when reading before bed or when simply hanging out. The quality and material seem to be good thus far and the zipper appears that it will hold up over time. Additionally, we were able to get a decent amount of stuffed animals inside the bean bag. This of course means the bean bag has a more firm feel, which I think my son prefers. I know I would personally prefer a more firm feel. In closing, we've only had the bean bag for a few days now, but so far it seems to be a good purchase with good value. I would recommend and think you'll be happy with your purchase. As a son with autism, his stuffed animals are his favorite thing, this chair provided them a perfect home that he can also use to his advantage. Gonna order a second one soon since it fit most but not all of his toys. Edit: I have now had the first chair for a few months and have gotten my second one. Though both of my boys are older these bags are great for all their stuffed toys and provide them all a good place to be toted about and stored easily in their closet. The bag itself is very sturdy, I regularly find my cat sleeping on it and my dogs tromping on it but still it is as perfect as the day I bought it. I recommend this sort of thing to everyone I know with the same issue we had. My only suggestion would be to provide more color schemes, given that now we have two of these bags and will eventually separate the boys into their own rooms it'll be hard to keep track of whose is whose without writing their names on them. All in all these bags are awesome!!

If you are buying this to put an existing beanbag or two inside it (as I was - my beanbags have gotten less fluffy and the original covers were looking ratty - my plan was to put both bags inside this, and it is more than large enough to do so), be forewarned that the access hole on this giant bag is only a 17-inch long zipper. I have purchased two other empty beanbags used for stuffed animals or bedding, and they both have 36-inch long zippers to access the inside. I got both beanbags in, but it was NOT easy, and I don’t know if I could get them back out. Now that they are in, the giant Mini Owls beanbag chair is incredibly comfortable, and I love the print on the fabric. But the zipper is ridiculously short related to the overall size of the product.

The design is cute and the kids love it. We purchased the large one and it needs a lot of stuffing ... we had a ton of stuffed animals and still I had to put a couple extra pillows and blankets. Honestly it could use more stuffing but I am sure we will aquire more stuffed animals. The other thing that I didn't really think about was stuffies that make noise, rattle or have some hardness to them. That is kind of annoying because we have a bunch of soft baby toys that rattle that I just threw in there. I was most concerned about the quality so I closely inspected all seams and everything looked great. It goes well in the kid play area and both my kids fit on the large one comfortably. It is the coveted spot for movie night!
