If you grew up in the 90s playing video games on the NES, SNES, Sega, Playstaion, and various Game Boys, this emulator will have games that will take you back. The device itself has a build quality reminiscent of the Game Boy Advanced from the early 00's, while even sharing the same electronic trend of transparent plastic allowing you to see the insides. In the box you get the emulator, and brief instructions packet, and a USB C cable for charging. The emulator was fully charged when I received mine. One thing I noticed about the product box, is there was no sealing sticker to ensure the emulator contents of the box hadn't been touched. Its just a small thing that you typically see on electronic devices today The battery life is impressive, I was skeptic about it reaching the 4-5 hours the description listed, but it has achieved this with its first charge. This emulator has a large library of games already preloaded onto the memory card and allows the ability to add more if you have the proper files. While the description says theres 10,000 games, the emulator I received only says there are 5,866 games. Still an impressive number of games including many games to keep me entertained. The HDMI out works, but it is not outputting at a high resolution and can look a little blurred, seemingly more than my real consoles connected via RCA. The HDMI does also transfer audio as expected. I did not notice input lag when going through HDMI either. There have been two absolute negatives that I have noticed while everything else is pretty minor. Audio on a fair number of games I have played have been "glitchy" with pops in random parts, some games have more areas than others. Some games don't have an issue at all, but I have played more games that have had it than not. At first I thought it was just the speaker being overloaded, so I plugged in some headphones and the issue was still there, and even going through the HDMI the audio issue was still present. My next issue that leaves me slightly disappointment has been a seemingly rare issue. Some games will not save. I will go set up the save game file for it, and when I launch the game the next time, the save file does not exist and the system says that the save data is off still for the game. Again it has only been a few games where I have run into this, but just so happen to be the games I wanted saves on the most in my case. I haven't been able to test controller support as I haven't found controllers made by the manufacturer listed in the description. Overall I am enjoying this retro game emulator and I am happy with its performance. It has so many games I had forgotten about until now.

The media could not be loaded. Thinking about it? Get it. This little handheld is able to emulate a bunch of old school games and I haven't experienced any stutters yet. Screen is fairly bright, well sized, crisp and the resolution is more than enough for the games included. It's loud but I've noticed that some popping can be heard at the highest volume setting - I've been using this for about a month and I consistently see about 5 hours of gaming from a full charge ( mainly gba games) but I'm sure your experience may vary depending on your brightness and game settings. Build is pretty darn good, the plastic housing is a dark see through black, the face buttons have great feedback - not spongy, bumpers are clicky and the device has a comfortable weight to it! I saw another review mention this and I want to add to it: the in-game saves are not reliable- took me some disappointments to learn this but you are much better off just using the system's save option for every game. Despite of that, I think this deserves all 5 stars - it's hundreds of hours of preloaded games paired with a device that feels likely to live for hundreds of hours.

Turning it on and looking through the zillion or so games took me back a few decades. The nostalgia truly kicked in when the music of the old games played. This is the perfect portable game system for the old-timer who grew up loving computer games. As for this current generation, I find the younger players enjoy it more than the more sophisticated teens. One thing is for sure, you don't need to worry about bloody graphics or naughty words with this console. The device comes fully charged so it plays right out of the box. The screen resolution is spot-on and crystal clear however I wish it was just a bit brighter. I understand that a brighter screen leads to quicker battery loss so if it is a choice of a slightly brighter screen or longer playing time on a charge - I'd go with the longer playtime. It took me a while to get used to the buttons. The console has a good weight. It feels solid. The small speaker crackled on some of the games. It may be the game itself. Other times the speaker was fine. Headphone play is ideal so the speaker isn't needed as often. It charges quickly and survived one drop on the kitchen floor so all is good. I give this 5 stars. For an old gamer like myself, it is worth the money.

Very impressive handheld gaming device with literally thousands of retro games installed. I don't expect to ever even read the entire list of games that it contains let alone play them all, the list is overwhelming. Fortunately it does have a search and filter by game system menu that helps a lot. The few games that I have played so far worked just fine. They were pretty much true to the originals, including the graphics. The button layout is intuitive and familiar. I wouldn't compare the quality of this device to any of the current handhelds, but it's adequate and a great value for thousands of retro games .

This is a great handheld gaming system for playing retro games. The system contains a bunch of games and the screen is very bright and vibrant in playing. There's also a very handy save feature that allows you to save your game and resume at the exact spot you left off at.
