In our youtube videos - we use both a Mavic 3 as well as a Mini 4 Pro to capture footage. We tested this third-party 'Plus' battery (3850mAh) with our DJI Mini 4 Pro, though it's also compatible with the Mini 3 Pro and Mini 3. Physically, we found it closely matches the official DJI Plus battery in size, shape, and weight. However, we did notice it felt slightly stiffer than the DJI-branded battery when inserting and removing it from the drone – a minor point, but noticeable. It's important for users to remember that this battery puts the drone over the 249g weight limit, requiring awareness of local flight regulations. In terms of performance, the battery arrived about 75% charged. In our flight test under specific conditions (Mini 4 Pro, approx. 65°F, 8-12mph wind), we achieved a total flight time of 28 minutes and 12 seconds from takeoff to auto-landing. While this provides a decent boost over the standard battery, it was slightly less than the 30-35 minutes we might have hoped for from a 'Plus' battery in these conditions. From empty, the battery fully recharged in 66 minutes using our DJI 65W charger (from a Mavic 3), which likely explains this relatively quick time compared to official specs based on 30W chargers. It includes standard safety protections and seems like a reliable option. Overall, we consider this a solid third-party alternative for extending flight time. It functions well as a backup battery, offering fair performance even if our flight test didn't quite meet top expectations. The slightly stiff fit is a minor issue. It's a good value, provided you understand the actual flight time achieved and the weight implications.

The first thing to know about these batteries is that while they are more powerful than the stock battery that comes with a Mini 4 Pro drone, they are also heavier. The Mini 4 Pro doesn't need FAA registration so long as it remains under 250 grams and is not used for commercial purposes. These batteries however add an additional 50-60 grams to the drone and will definitely increase the drone weight enough to require FAA registration. I knew that prior to ordering these and I have subsequently registered my drone. The benefit is that the batteries add about 10-12 minutes of additional flight time. Flight times will vary depending on factors such as wind speed, flight speed and altitudes flown. I haven't had any problems charging them and quality of construction appears good. I noticed no problems with control or flight characteristics when using them and the Mini 4 was plenty powerful enough to lift them. I have included a photo comparing the stock lighter battery with these batteries for reference. Other than the labeling, there is no difference in size. Bottom Line: Nice two-pack of quality batteries that adds an additional 10-15 minutes of flight time. I didn't have any problems using them and the additional weight of them puts drones in the category that requires FAA registration.

The aftermarket batteries appear to be compatible with my DJI Mini 4 Pro, fitting in the same manner as the original equipment manufacturer batteries. They also seem to charge at a reasonable speed and offer a capacity comparable to the OEM batteries. I have not observed any noticeable difference in runtime thus far. Overall, these batteries perform very well. They represent excellent value and would be a worthwhile purchase for any Mini 4 Pro owner.

Having increased battery life is a nice thing to have when I'm off on an adventure and won't have charging available. This battery is about 50% larger than the original battery from my mini 4 pro, and it weighs more as well. It puts my mini over the FAA 250g limit. So, in my case at least, FAA registration is needed. But the added weight does come with a small benefit of providing wind resistance. This was nice as my drone is always struggling on breezy days. Inserting the battery feels like a perfect fit and they seem to charge as expected. I charged mine in both the drone and an external battery charger without issue. Runtime was great, and while I didn't drain it all the way, when I was done there was more juice left than what I've experienced with the original battery. It doesn't feel like it gets hotter than the original either. Overall I think this is a really good value for the money and not a bad pick. Safe flying everyone!
