This is just great lipstick - smooth color, great texture, no fuss. About once a year I stock up on lipstick, after a dermatologist recommended that I ALWAYS should wear opaque lipstick. He said it is the best sunscreen for lips and, after having a freckle removed from my lip, I agree with him. I recently visited a makeup counter and looked at a nice shade and, when the sales person found it for me was shocked at the $35 price! That was ridiculous - it had no healing or restorative properties! It was simply lipstick! I was very happy to find this brand on Amazon and try it out. This is a beautiful red color that isn’t too bright but one you could easily wear anytime! It goes on smooth and wears kind of like a stain. We didn’t notice that it caused dryness of the lips but was more moisturizing and thought for the money it has a great value. We used it for a dance recital and it stayed on for hours!

Had this lipstick just over a month ( the return period ended 3 days ago!), and it has broken off at the base. I only used this about 6 times, definitely not abused, never left my house. What a waste of money, (although now on sale). Do not buy, it will likely break and will not be useable. Otherwise the color is nice and it would have been nice to use ongoing.

Love this color and formula. I have extremely fair skin with olive undertones and this family of taupe/mauve/plum works well for my daily color to give my face warmth and life and enhancing dark eyebrows/hair. if I want it deeper I can apply a bit thicker. It stays well without running/bleeding. When first applying it is kind of stiff, but then the warmth of my lips makes it soft & creamy feeling while still pretty matte, although not completely - My only complaint is it has a bit of frost or shimmer. I wish it were truly a creme without any lustre at all.

I’m a fair-skinned Asian with dark brown hair, and Mineral Fusion’s Burst color is my favorite color to wear day or night. It’s a natural salmon/warm pink thrat’s just enough color without being too much color. It can be worn without lipliner, and has just enough thick/creamy texture for good coverage. If your lips have a slightly darker shade to them, this color also balances well against that too. I like it in summer as well as winter months. You do have to be careful about ordering this online in hot summer months, because it can arrived softened which makes the lipstick want to fall off the base as soon as you apply it. Try cooling it off first. I’ve also sometimes found Mineral Fusion lipsticks at Whole Foods, although the Burst color is usually not in stock in stores. I really like that it’s fragrance free and paraben free, and the seed oils and cocoa butter make it moisturizing to reapply throughout the day.

This lipstick has a feel that is somehow dry and oily at the same time, probably due to the mineral powder fighting with the moisturizing ingredients. That doesn't sound good, but it's not actually uncomfortable, stays on, and isn't sticky, although I find I need to blot it. I blot most lipsticks, however. I bought this in Ruby and Peony. I am reviewing Ruby here. I thought it was a pretty pinky-red shade, and it is, but it is a bit dull. It has slightly greyish undertones (I have olive skin). If you subscribe to the four seasons theory of colour, I'm pretty sure it is a summer lipstick, whereas I am a winter. It is quite pretty, but I find it a little dull on me. The one real issue I have with this lipstick is its scent. It's very strong and not all that pleasant. I don't think it smells as if it has gone bad or anything. It is just heavily scented with a sort of chemical smell I don't like. Worse even than L'Oreal. Otherwise, it comes in a pretty metallic tube that feels heavy and "expensive". That's on the plus side of things. Hope this helps.

I wear this color at work and I like it. It's not to bright and it's not dark, it's just right! I work in a jail and I'm not trying to draw attention to my lips. This lipstick does the trick. It's moisturizing and it doesn't try my lips out or chap them.

I've been using this lipstick for years. The shade is a beautiful, satiny, deep rose color with a hint of coral. I use it over red lip liner for a subdued red shade. The lipstick itself is creamy, moisturizing, and lasts all day.
