I've always been a fan of dungeon crawlers, but as a more casual gamer I find the entry skill level to be a bit much on them sometimes. You can choose your difficulty in this game which solves that common issue, albeit higher difficulty gains you more reward. Also, all your stats are not permanently glued to you. Powers are based on gear, which you can trade out at any time to try a new tactic. I've had hours of fun on my own playing Minecraft Dungeons, but it's especially fun with a friend or two as well. The environments are very pretty as well with great story narration, and I particularly enjoy that there are optional additional enemies and paths you can face for extra reward. You can speedrun your way right to the battles... or you can face down some extra zombies and illagers for fun and the game doesn't punish you for doing that. I really enjoy the DLC and the replay value is high on each level. ... show more

Overall, this is a great game. It's basically Diablo for kids. However, the game struggles to hit 30 fps, even in docked mode.

Minecraft Dungeons is a now a classic and a goodie, especially in the Hero Edition. We love it since it’s multiplayer and bet you may, too. No major framerate issues here off the disc version. Now go out there and slay ‘em!

This is a good port to be able to play Minecraft Dungeons on the go. This comes with the DLC, so it makes a shorter game just a little longer. Overall, I think the game is good and worth the price.
