I sent these to my grandchildren in a different city, so I haven not yet actually seen them. However, I really 'studied' the many other stencils available on the market and selected these. The categories are appropriate for all children. There will not be any stencils that I have to throw away. The size and the actual configuration of the vast variety of stencils was also an important factor. For example: The dinosaur looks real, but it is not so complex that a young child cannot use it. I feel my grandchildren, ages 3 and 5, will be able to use the stencils without frustration. These stencils will grow with the kids as their thinking processes, fine motor skills, and imaginations continue to develop. I also love that they are 'kid powered!"     • Great for Art Projects for Kids and Adults
I love these. My son uses them for his art projects, and I use them for my art journal. There is a huge variety of different stencils to use. Some of them, however, are a bit difficult to even get even super sharp pencil lead into in order to create the picture on the paper as it is on the stencil, so beware of that. Also, many of the stencil pictures are on the bigger side, so if you're using them to fit in smaller spaces (as in an art journal) some of them might not work too well. These are extremely durable and hold up to multiple uses. A great selection of various designs. These were purchased for PTA fundraiser event. As a school fundraiser families purchase and paint 6x6 ceramic tiles which are then installed at the front entrance of the school. (A local ceramic vendor comes to our school once a year and brings the tiles and paint. After the event, the vendor takes the tiles to fire and glaze. They get a portion of the proceeds to cover their costs and also bring advertising materials for families to visit their shop. Win/win for both of us.) These templates were used by families who weren't so confident in their artistic abilities. They used a pencil to draw the design on the tile and then painted in the design.     • Hours of fun!
I have three granddaughters (4, 6, 11 yrs of age), who love arts and crafts. This kept them busy for an extended period of time. The kit comes with a tablet of paper, (though I gave them a stack of computer printer paper which worked great). The stencils are of good quality and should last for years. There are colored pencils and a sharpener, and it all comes in a handy storage/carrying case. Latches on the case aren't the sturdiest, but they still work. This stencil kit is amazing! My grandchildren absolutely love it. They sit for hours creating grandma beautiful master pieces that hang on my fridge. You truly have an awesome product here. We bought it for our grandson who is turning 5 and very into drawing. We haven't given it to him yet but we think he will love it. I had a couple of really old little stencils that he found and had fun with, so we are sure he will have a great time with these. He and his younger brother are into all sorts of animals and there are so many greats stencils of dinosaurs and fish and elephants etc. ... show more
