It would be nice if the material/cloth would be thicker, but it certainly beats your regular super-market no-name-brand shirts, that look nice at first and then come apart, and appear to be so thin, you can see through them... This shirt in question seems to have higher quality than a lot of Legendary Whitetails shirts I have. It’s a bit crazy how the faster delivery is more expensive than the shirt itself, when the order was being placed. So, the next option after Free Delivery, was something like $50 lol Maybe it’s a glitch? Or someone would really pay this much to get a casual shirt quicker? It is a level thicker than thin W-store shirts and even the ones I bought at Menards — their in-house brand “Rugged Wear” (lol, it’s not, it’s just a but better than the current day average). But it’s only a shy step thicker. My dream would be to have this shirt, same colors and design, but made from a high quality thicker and stronger cotton. I lead an active life and deeply appreciate products that are made to be reliable. I also camp a lot, and hike. Gladly I got some jackets from military surplus stores that are fairly scratch and piercing resistant (such as when traversing a forest, bushes, undergrowth and so on). And even being a biker, hypothetically (considering it’s a bit of a “biker brand”) having a thicker cotton shirt under the sturdy and protected cycling jacket — is a plus. Or being a machinist — they would also appreciate that. I could name a ton of jobs where stronger clothing makes a lot of difference (working at warehouse, being an electrician, farmer, etc., etc.) I bought a used cotton shirt from a second-hand store sometime ago in the recent past that itself was made A Long Time ago. It was worn, it looked worn, but still had so much life left in it!!! Very thick and sturdy textile, amazing stitching job, could almost be a jacket on its own. If I buy clothing, I don’t want to buy it again and again, because they fall apart. (Even though that what some companies want to happen to us, so we could buy another one again, sigh.) Again, this is a level better than average. I still think that it’s great, because finding a quality shirt like that is hard!! So I give it 4 stars for the good fit, design, well-attached buttons, and good length (some folks are over 6” tall and get giddy as h$ll when a shirt has enough length, including the sleeves and the overall length). Just wish they used even a better material. For the price, it should be justified. Unless you leave in a hot climate, and even when on a bike you choose not to wear a thick shirt below the jacket, then I get it, there’s sense in that… Buy for northerners and outdoors’ fans, it’s a bit different. Milwaukee is in WI. Gets pretty cold up there. To stay true to the brand and its name, they should at the very least have separate SKU’s for thick cotton shirts for Tall people. The pricing is already with a good marketing markup, people deserve to have a choice for the real deal cotton/flannel shirts that could be worn for decades and not fall apart. ... show more
