  • Easy to buy at this price point; very well made
Size: 9 Color: Distressed Brown
I just did a several-hour ride today and am very happy with these boots. The leather and construction are very good, and the liner appears to be neoprene, so the inside is smooth enough to wear these with pants tucked into the boots with no binding or pulling. The outside adjustments can be snugged up to wear pants outside, too. I am normally not a fan of side zippers, but they make these boots SO easy the put on and take off that I have reconsidered this opinion. The only downside is there is no gusset on the inside of the zipper, but OTOH the lack of the gusset makes wearing pants tucked in way easier. They are sized bigger than normal. I went 1/2 size down and have room for normal or winter-weight sox. The sole looks very durable and has a great grip even on wet, slick asphalt at intersections. These are better than my Schott engineer boots and less than half the price. 100% recommendation for these boots for motorcycling. ... show more

  • Sweet Boots :)!
Size: 13 Color: Distressed Brown
Got these boots for my Renn Faire outfit in october 2024, only to discover they're oil/slip resistant etc. Got permission to wear them at work and boy are they comfy! Even after a long work day! Only thing is my regular work shoes are slightly more oil/slip resistant heh, but these still work fine. They're also thicker than my Timberlands, which is nice because I work in a 34F Refrigerator all day. Working in them helped age them for my costume which turned out awesome! It has been 8 months and I still wear them a few times a week (switching between pairs of boots to let one dry). They're still going strong!!! Great work on these boots! ... show more

  • Well made, durable, attractive
Size: 12 Color: Distressed Brown
I have several pairs of other brands of leather boots including Frye, Ugg, Doc Martens, Redwing, that I’ve had for years. I wanted these because they extend higher up the leg than all my others which I wanted for working in tall brush. I’m happy with the quality but did not like the tall heels which for me was very uncomfortable. I’m work as a fabricator so am a DIY person with almost everything. I removed the wedge insert and reattached the heels myself. Now they are excellent for my needs! I also removed the straps at the top which for me were superfluous. The other changes I made was to add another memory foam insole as they tended to flop around on my feet as I walked. This helps tremendously making them fit so much better. I often will change insoles in all my shoes and boots as they are the first to wear out. New insoles can make older shoes like new. Overall these boots are a solid deal. I believe they should hold up for many years but time will tell. The leather is thick and soles aggressive. I’ve have these for a year but only recently modified the heels so didn’t wear them much until now. They are well insulated for cold weather which we are having now so I’m wearing them more often. The pics show excess glue around the heels that I may clean off but it’s not noticeable unless you get right up on it. FYI I used E6000 to glue the heels. I’ve used it many times for other shoe repair with great results. Modifying the heels requires some special tools that I made to facilitate clamping them back in place while the glue sets for a couple days. If you dislike the tall heels you might take them to a shoe repair place if you aren’t comfortable doing it yourself. ... show more

  • They run large but they’re worth it
Size: 9.5 Color: Distressed Brown
I’ve had these for a couple of months now. I ordered the size I usually wear (9.5 men’s) but when I got them, they were way too big! That’s ok, I layered in another insole and used the straps to tighten them a notch. I had to cut the new insole to a size 10, but they’re a perfect fit now. I’m on my feet all day and they are protective enough for light shop work, and comfortable enough to prevent any pain or issues. I’ve accidentally stepped in some deep puddles and my feet stayed dry. (My jeans….well, they dried eventually.) These are basically a motorcycle boot with some attitude and heft. They’re too hefty for me to ride in, but I ride a street bike. Cruisers would probably be fine. They’re heavy, but it’s a fine tradeoff for the protection they offer. The leg of the boot is nicely padded and gives ankle support, but I can still slip my knife there if needed. The Velcro tab at the top of the zipper is a nice touch. The zipper itself is fine—it’s not a super cheap one, so I probably won’t need to replace it any time soon. After a couple of months of wear, I’m not seeing any of the warning signs that they plan to fall apart or give out. They’re comfortable and as protective as I need for what I do. They do run large. I highly recommend these! ... show more

  • Order normal size and some thick inserts.
Size: 10 Color: Distressed Brown
Let me start off by saying I own several Milwaukee Leather products. I have three pair of pants, a pair of gloves, a shirt, and a leather jacket (which is my main jacket). Somehow thought they missed the mark on these. The toe box and upper have way too much room, I had to put in a thick padded support insert, on top of their insert, to correct. Feels great perfect now (considered fixed). And no it wasn't the size, because any smaller and my toes would be rubbing against the end of the toe box, length wise. The heel and ankle support are still supper loose. Do not plan on walking on any rough terrain or hiking in them, the ankle has no support. The heel is loose but it doesn't rub, so not getting any blisters. I can take these off and put them on without unzipping them just like cowboy boots but, they cowboy boots are better fitting around the heel. I was concerned about how warm or heavy they would be when I I saw the thick padding. However they are lighter than they look and so far have not been hot at all. I'll see when summer rolls around, I live in AZ. Over all, if you add a padded insert, they are great for riding and walking on flat smooth surfaces. Riding to go shopping, friends house, club house or hall, or to meet for dinner, etc. They will be great. But if you are gonna ride off-road or going camping, I would not recommend. Probably would not recommend running in them either, I have had to already but I am used to having to run in cowboy boots occasionally too. ... show more
