I searched everywhere for a XXL flat black modular helmet for a great price. I am not disappointed. My husband loved this for Christmas. We were able to use it this spring. A intercom does fit in it.

Love this helmet. I ride the old man bike the goldwing 1500 and never have troubles. It has a few issues that are livable though. 1. Visor fogs up easily even with the vents open. Easily mitigated by cracking the visor slightly open. 2. The visor shield screws back out. I recomend pulling them and mild thread locking them. 3. The neck piece that comes with it while easy to remove did little for noise dampening in my opinion. Just gonna live with it. Those are my only issues. It is still one of the best helmets i have owned though. Still recomend buying it. ... show more

I have had this helmet for 2 years now. Overall it's comfortable and it won't break the bank. Holding it next to a top of the line helmet you can physically tell the difference. It says it meets safety standards but I question how it would actually hold up in an accident compared to a top brand name one. Regardless it's been what I have used the past couple years and honestly I have only had 2 issues. One is the fog up of the clear visor, this mostly happens at a stop light when it's cooler outside. Secondly, and my biggest complaint, is that the clear visor will not stay up while riding. I like to flip it up and ride with the clear visor open sometimes but the lock tabs just aren't strong enough to do that. 25-35 mph it's fine, but 45+mph the wind pushes it down. The whole front can flip up and will stay but I personally don't like wearing it that way and only use that feature for things like getting gas or doing something roadside where I can use the feature to not take the helmet off. I wish there was a way to stiffen the clear visor up like on some other helmets but this one just doesn't have that possibility. I'm currently looking for a new helmet because of the issue. But overall it's a cheap DOT approved helmet thats lightweight and looks good. The quick release chin strap is a great feature. As for sizing, I was near the higher measurement for a size Large on the chart so I went up to an XL and the fit is great...not too tight and actually have some room for air circulation ... show more

Fits well, and comfortable. The front vent actually works well and lets in cool air so you gone feel like you are suffocating.
