A friend recommended this line of products to use as we have been potty training our puppy. She gets half a stick for pee and a whole piece for a bm. It is funny to watch the second dog watch to see if the puppy has been successful and he comes to claim his watching reward too. I cannot attest to the taste/flavor but very popular with both dogs. My boy loves the chicken and apple sausage. They smell packed with flavor and were soft and fresh on opening the bag. I've gotten some rubbery treat at local box stores in the past. Unlike the ill-informed people making negative posts I'm not worried about the onion / garlic powders contained within. My dog cost more than some used cars. I wouldn't be taking chances. First, the label shows Max recommended serving size per day by body weight. Treats are treats not food. Second, a med/large dog would have to eat 2/3 of a medium onion or 2/3 Tbsp of powder at one time to be toxic. My 60 lb boy is only getting 2 pieces a day (half the Max recommended) cutting them into 8-10 little pieces. With training it's about the flavor not the quantity. Do your own research based on current data and make good decisions. Chinese beef used 9 years ago, in many brands, doesn't have any effect on the current product. ... show more

Soft enough for older dogs and can be cut with scissors into a jar for handing out little pieces. Plus my dogs love them.
